Chapter 1

"I'm not hungry", I explained to my mom. Every dinner my mom would be bugging me about eating more. Should I tell her eating is not good, everyone expects me to be thin. To maintain my status I must not eat. Is it bad to be five feet six and only weigh in at 82 pounds.

"Would you like to tell me something Tara" she asks.

"Oh so now you are interested in something that I do", I yell,"I am going out!"

"Where?", she asks.

"None of your business, holy"

Ms. Mychaels has been worrying about her daughter... again! Last year they had a problem; Tara was following the wrong crowd, she was bullying multiple people ( not just people her age), her grades were dropping and she had begun to show some physical signs of eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia. A year after her dad had past away she was just 12 and her mother and herself had gone for a check up at the local clinic. The doctor said that Tara was below the average weight of a 12 year old. Weighing in at 80 pounds almost 20 pounds less than the average 12 year old.

"She had started this bad behaviour ever since her father was caught on a drug scandal. That really hurt Tara; her personality and attitude completely changed in that year. Being a single mother was definitely not at all easy" thought Tara's mom Christine.

Tara's point of View

" I wish I could tell her, I really do but Rayne isn't allowing me to. Says mom will disown me or send me away. Do I believe her, no! Am I going to believe her, yes! When my father was caught on a drug scandal, I came across Rayne and she had helped me through it. She told me to be the opposite of my behaviour ( from good to bad). Set my expectations lower; Rayne then told me to be anorexic, I didn't want to but I did. Everyone's doing it so why can't I? She told me the ten anorexic commandments:

1.) If you aren't thin, you aren't attractive.

2.) Being thin is more important than being healthy.

3.) You must buy clothes, cut your hair, take laxatives and do anything to make yourself look thinner.

4.) Thow shalt not eat with out feeling guilty.

5.) Thow shalt not eat fast food without punishing oneself afterwards.

6.) Thow shalt count calories and restrict food intake accordingly.

7.)loosing weight is good while gaining weight is bad.

8.) You can never be "too" thin.

9.) Being thin and not eating are signs of true will power and success."

10.) Eating is losing.

"Taxi", Tara yelled. She was in her way to the club.

"Miss, where would you like me to take you this evening", he asks.

He was a big guy about 6"4 and weighing in at 300 pounds.

" You there", he asks in a foreign accent.

" Disgusting", Rayne says," tell him he's disgusting."

" Oh, um 7800 Burke Blvd", she replied.

" Hold on, aren't you a little too young to be going to a club?"

" Just go okay, God".

He muttered something but Tara couldn't care less." Tara it is time for revenge", yelled Rayne

" Okay, okay", Tara screamed.

The cab driver checked the rear mirror to check if she was alright.

Tara looked around the cab to see if there was anything she could use as revenge. Nope, just useless things. Then she noticed he had a ring.

"Do it!", yelled Rayne.

"Oh so you are married"

" Yah, so", he replied

" Do you have any children, I am sure that they are soo happy that their father is a cab driver, and your so called wife too.

She sees a picture of a little girl. Perfect.

" You know, I know that little girl. She goes to St. June's Catholic School, am I not right? You see our school, Laurin Diamonde Private School, that's French for diamond is a private school in Manhattan; largest one in the great city of New York. Lets face it, it is a school for were rich children like moi go, ya I did not see your sad little chid going there I know she goes to St. June's. Unfortunately St. June's was having money issues having to pull students out or let their parents pay more. Your little Sophie was one to pull out. How does it feel to have your little girl leave school just because, you can't "afford" it.

Then they came to a slow halt.

"I believe that my stop is there", Tara pointed to a club just a block away.

"Get out", he ordered.

"Fine by me, btw here's your wow 45 dollars that you have definitely earned", Tara said sarcastically, "oh and keep the extra 20, maybe you maybe able to buy that poor little girl with an ignorant father like you a decent Barbie pillow.... From Ebay of of course! Goodnight", and with that Tara walked of to the club.

"Good job Tara, you did excellent", said Rayne.
