The world around Renjun seemed to be falling apart at the seems. Everything that could go wrong, seemed too. His parents were fighting, his friends seemed to be turning on each other as the seconds passed, his brother was shutting him out. He had no idea what was going wrong and what he did to cause it.

Renjun remembered just a few months ago where everything was great. In fact, it was probably the happiest Renjun had ever been in his life, especially in high school. He guessed that he had it coming though if he really thought about. Things couldn't stay that good forever.

"Would you shut the fuck up for once? God, it's like nothing other than bullshit can come out of your mouth."

Renjun snapped out of his recent catch up with reality, looking at Donghyuck glaring at Jaemin who was returning the look.

"At least what I say is interesting, unlike you, I don't boast about what I did today." Jaemin retaliated, standing up from the plastic chair.

"Both of you need to knock it off, no one wants to listen to your egos arguing." Mark snapped at both of them, the older male having had his head in his hands for most of the lunch period.

"Then don't listen." Donghyuck hissed towards his boyfriend who rolled his eyes, stood up from the table and walked away.

"Wow look at you, running your own boyfriend away from you." Jaemin said, his arms crossed over his chest with a frown on his lips.

"At least someone can actually like me for me, I don't see anyone wanting your fucked up self." Donghyuck jabbed, Jeno instantly standing up at that comment as Jaemin gave Donghyuck a sour look and leaving the table.

"I don't see why Mark even likes you anymore, you've been such an asshole to everyone you see, stooping as low to target your friends, I think you're the fucked up one here." Jeno sneered, grabbing his and Jaemin's bag and leaving the table.

Renjun sighed quietly as Donghyuck started mumbling under his breath while gathering his things and taking off in the opposite direction from where the other three went, leaving Renjun at the table alone.

He knew that he would probably be sitting by himself for the next few days if the last few weeks have given him any hints. Ever since Chenle started distancing himself, bringing Jisung with him, he really didn't have anyone else to go to now that his other four friends aren't really friends anymore.

The lunch bell rang a few moments later, making Renjun huff and gather his things before heading off to his next class of the day, the only one that he didn't share with any of his friends. As he would be thankful for the break from his arguing friends, he would miss the giggles and silent laughter that the other classes used to bring.

"You can do this." He mumbled to himself, exiting the cafeteria into the sea of students heading to their next class.

Home life wasn't all that much better, with his parents having yelling matches every night until one of them or both of them leave the house for the rest of the night, leaving Renjun either by himself or with his little brother who seemed to be ultimately affected by their fighting. The older male had an idea that the reason Chenle was distancing himself was because of their parents fighting and didn't want to deal with anyone in the family right now.

Hence why Renjun was now sitting on the kitchen floor with his head in his hands, 10 minutes after his parents finished their screaming back, both of them having left in two different cars. He had meant to clean up the shattered glass that his mom had thrown but he ended up on the floor, too tired of the negativity to even cry.
