"Y/n! Hey how are you?"
"Kara I feel like I haven't seen you in forever! I'm doing great. Who's this?" Wow he's cute. Tall, brunette hair, blue eyes, and those glasses just pull him together.
"My name is Mo- Ow why'd you hit me!" The mysterious man exclaims to Kara. She gives him a look. "Sorry my name is Mike. Yeah."
"Mike, I'm going to go talk to my boss really quick, um just stay here maybe chat with y/n. I'll be right back." Kara quickly rushes off. She didn't want to leave Mon-el with y/n, he can barley act 'normal' when he's with her. Just think what he would be like if Kara wasn't there.
"So Mike I haven't seen you around did you just move here?" My curiosity getting the best of me. I really would've noticed someone like him.
"Yeah I just moved here a couple of days ago." his smile. Why does he have this effect on me. I shouldn't be this intrigued with a guy I barely know.
"That's great! Um. How do you know Kara?" I hope this doesn't sound so weird to him. Gosh I really hope not.
"We are.. friends." Mike sounded hesitant to say that. Why? Are they more than friends? I hope not.
"Oh are you together?" I add a wink after, giggling to myself. Oh my gosh he must think I'm weird. I just giggled and I'm already asking him if he's dating someone.
"No we aren't." He chuckled. " How about you are you, what do you call it, dating anyone?"
"It's complicated. I—"
"Hey guys sorry that took so long! Anyways, y/n, we really have to go." Why does Mike look so sad. He's a great guy, I can't help but feel attracted to him.
"Bye Kara! It was great meeting you Mike!"
"You too!" He yells as he gets whisked away. I just can't help but think about his face when we were talking about seeing other people. He looked so disappointed. I was already planning on breaking it off soon. Things just weren't working with me and Winny. I feel bad, but now with Mike here I just can't get him out of my head. I hope I see him soon.
