Taehyung knew what was at stake. If he didn't stop Jungkook now then he might end up losing him forever and even all of his other friends. Although his plan to meet them was still something in his future, the circumstances forced him to leave his barely habitable cellar in Daegu and have him come to the capital because his own brother wasn't willing to help him. The first place that Taehyung went to was Jin's place in Seoul, so that he could talk to Namjoon regarding the security issue.
..
When the bell of their house rang in the middle of the night, Jin was naturally scared. It wasn't the weekend so that meant Namjoon wasn't on the other side of the door. Jungkook wouldn't come to his place when Namjoon wasn't there and the other three would always give him a call if they had any plans of coming over. So not being sure about the visitor, Jin went to grab his taser gun and slowly opened the door. He was almost about to shoot the person but when he saw Taehyung with a little girl at his door, his gun fell from his hand due shock and when he gained some sense, he jumped on Taehyung to cover him in a hug. Small tears slipped down his face and he placed small kisses on Tae's hair. Holding his face firmly in his hands, Jin said-
"Do you know how worried we were for you? We literally searched every town for you. Jungkook was so broken, Yoongi barely functioning and do you even know how bad I felt because I was the one responsible for all this mess in the first place?"
Taehyung didn't say anything and just held onto the hands on his face. Seeing that Taehyung was not saying a thing, the little girl beside him joined in the conversation.
"Taetae who is this boy?"
The question shifted both the men's attention to the little cutie, who just managed to reach a little above Tae's knees.
"Who is this baby?" Jin asked too.
"This is Kim Haaein. And Haaein this is my hyung, Jin. Remember the one I told you about having restaurants and feeding us?"
"Oh yes. Hi, I am Haaein and this is Kookie." The girl held her stuffed teddy higher for Jin to see.
"Hyung is Namjoon hyung here?" Tae continued and Jin shook his head in answer but he opened the door for them to come in.
"Hyung I need to talk to Namjoon hyung right now."
"But he is not in the town."
"What?"
"His office is in Gwangju."
"I don't understand-"
"Jungkook wanted us away so Namjoon works there and except Yoongi no one can really contact him."
"What the hell?" Tae rubbed his forehead.
"Well I don't blame him."
"Hyung no! I left him here so that you all could be close to him and take care of him."
"And how did you mange to that? By taking the blame yourself?"
Taehyung was quiet and looked away.
"Remember Tae, he felt cheated by Jimin and Hoseok. He trusted me like I was his elder brother."
"Taetae when will we meet your Kookie?"
Jin and Taehyung looked at the girl who was now playing with the strands on Tae's jacket and holding her teddy by the other.
"Come here, darling." Jin asked.
The girl after a little hesitation and getting a nod from her hyung walked up to Jin, who then sat her on her lap.
"Do you know his Kookie?"
"Taehyung knew what was at stake. If he didn't stop Jungkook now then he might end up losing him forever and even all of his other friends.
