Chapter 3: Am I the same

Chenle was looking at the girl he was supposed to collect. He felt strange seeing her. He didn't know why, but he saw himself in her, but he felt pathetic. Was he really the same? The thought started to fog his consciousness. He didn't like it. Was he really that money obsessed. The boy felt stupid for letting something like money take his mind, but then he remembered - he was supposed to be that way. That's what the universe wanted,right? He was the Sin of Greed and he cannot change that, no he wouldn't change that. There were 6 more innocent people that got the same fate as him so why regret it.
He remembered the task at hand. The girl that was supposed to be collected. The sin of greed was determined to take her soul no matter what or he wouldn't be the sin itself.

The girl had long blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. If he wasn't in love with Y/N he wouldn't mind taking her for himself. She was playing at a game room. Chenle approached the girl.

- Hello, young lady! Aren't you too young to be here? - asked nicely Chenle
- Huh? You're not the one to ask me that!
- Hmmm, touche. I'm Chenle by the way. What's your name?
- Jane. Why are you here, pretty boy?
- Winning money. I love the feeling. What about you?
- Same as you. - the girl smirked at the taller boy.
- Wanna take a walk and then we can play together? - offered the sin of greed.
- Why not.

They went out the game room and started roaming around. Actually, Chenle would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy their conversation. They were really alike.

- Oh, that's my brother and it looks like he is talking to some girl. - exclaimed Jane pointing in a direction.
Chenle looked there and indeed he saw his sister with the brother talking and laughing. Then the boy proceeded to do something, the sin of greed didn't expect. His sister looked as shocked as him.
- Oh that's my sister! - answered Chenle.
- What? Are you serious? Can you introduce us?
- Yes, come on.

- Y/N! Look I met someone. - fake introduced  Chenle
- Oh nice to meet you! I'm Y/N.
- I'm Jane. You guys don't really look a like.
Chenle didn't know what to say.
- Oh we have the same mom, but different dads. - smoothly lied his sister
- Ah ok then. Chenle let's go back to the game room?
- Yeah. Bye Y/N see you at home.
- Aha.

The 2 entered the game room again. Chenle was determined to get this done with. He didn't know why but the more time he spent with that girl the more he wanted to kill her - she resembled him too much it was annoying.

- Hey? Would you say that your obsessed with money? - smirked the sin feeling his power activating and starting to corrupt the girl.
- Hmmmm. Yes maybe.
- You know there was a word for that but it I can't remember it. - fake thought Chenle
- You mean greedy. Yes I would say I am greedy. - innocently smiled the girl.
The sin of greed could only grin. His mission was done. He let the cards go and stood up. The girl looked at him curiously, but he only smiled at her and she fell on the ground dead.

After leaving the girl's body in her room, he went looking for his sister. It didn't take him long.
She was standing in the middle of the field talking to the boy she was supposed to collect. He knew he couldn't intervene so he just sat down on one of the benches watching.

- I like this feeling Y/N!!! - shouted the bloodied boy.
- I understand you, darling! I.... - Y/N but the boy interrupted her.
- You know I've always been jealous of them. F*ck I'm jealous even envious. - cursed the boy.
- STUPID! WHY DID YOU SAY THAT! - shouted the sin of envy.
The boy went to stand up to fall on the ground again, but this time dead.
Y/N quietly went to his side, feeling his soul being eaten by her snake. She crouched next to him and petted his head. The girl turned around and saw her brother waiting for her.

- Y/N! LET'S GO HOME! WE ARE DONE HERE ! - screamed Chenle.
- COMING! - shouted back the girl, but before actually going she leaned down and kissed the dead boy's forehead.

Chenle saw the kiss and felt angry and uneasy.
