Chapter 1

  Y/N's P.O.V.

  I RAN FASTER THAN I'VE EVER RAN BEFORE. I ran to tell Alex the good news. Alex is one of my best friends. We've been through a lot together. So we have a strong bond. When we were 5 we promised each other that one day we will live together. We are basically siblings, so this wouldn't be a problem. Well just 5 seconds ago, my dad and mom said I could move into a house with him next month.

  Alex already had his own house. He lived alone with 4 dogs, 3 cats and 1 snake. Quite a lot of pets, but the house is big and all the animals get along, so why not have the many? We are both 17, which means we still go to school. We are both juniors. And you might be thinking why does Alex have his own house at 17? Well his parents are abusive so my parents got him his own house. Sometimes I think they love Alex more than me. But then again, who wouldn't?

  Anyways besides the point to present now. I ran towards the little cafe that Alex works at, and I occasionally go to drink some coffee and chat with the workers there. I'm basically a daily visitor. I visit on Mondays Tuesdays, and Thursdays after school. Wednesdays and Fridays are for visiting my grandma and grandpa. I'm also an expected visitor for them as well. Today is Friday, but I have to talk to Alex before my grandparents.

  "Alex!" I slightly scream as I open the door to the cafe and rush inside.

   Alex stands at the counter just watching over the cafe. I notice a guy next to Alex staring at me but I don't think about it to much. I literally do a front flip just to get to the other side of the counter where Alex is, and land on feet with no trouble. I do that a lot here so no one questions it.

  "Alex! Alex! Alex! Alex! Alex!" I said bouncing up and down slightly smiling. Alex looks at me and laughs smiling as well.

  "What's up Y/N?" He questions with his soft smile he does when someone else is excited.

  "They said yes! Mom and Dad said yes! So now I live with you!" I said put my hands up in the air. His eyes widened and his smile widens. He leaps and hugs me.

  I hug back and we bounce up an down together, clearly excited. Our excitement came to a stop when we both heard a throat clear. We turned to see the guy who was staring at me, with his arms crossed. Alex gave me an apologetic look and said,

  "Ah.. Sorry Timothy. I totally forgot about work..." Alex said scratching the back of his neck.

"I told you it's just Tim.." This 'Timothy guy muttered to Alex. Alex looked to the side, looking like he realized something.

  He turned to 'Tim' and grabbed his arm, pulling him to where Tim was beside him. Alex turned to me with him and smiled. 

  "Y/N this is Timothy. But call him Tim or he'll get mad. He's a new worker here, so be easy on him will ya?" Alex explained pointing to Tim. Tim just stood there awkwardly, his arms crossed looking to the side.

  Tim had fluffy looking medium brown hair. He had clean looking side burns and dark brown eyes. The uniform looked good on him, not to lie. He had a face on that i couldn't really explain. But it was slightly attractive. He kinda looked like Alex, but Alex had platinum blonde hair and no side burns.

  "Go easy on him? What's the fun in that? You act like i went easy on you when I first met you." I said smirking, while Alex just laughed nervously, obviously remembering the first day on Kindergarten, where i challenged him to a fight.

  "Anyways, speaking of remembering things;" Alex looked at him watch that's was placed firmly around his wrist and looked back up, "It's 9:27, and I got a meeting with my boss at 9:30, so Y/N, you're in charge of Tim and the counter. Behave, and go easy on him." Alex explained grabbing a jacket off the counter and walking away.
