It was crouched, waiting for its moment to strike. Senses tingling, it knew that its prey was near and it was ready. When the mouse poked its head out to see if it was safe to come out, the cat pounced with deadly precision. To its dismay however, the cat's prey escaped its clutches due to a loud banging sound that came from the house beside them that alerted it. Seeing as its meal was taken from it, the cat decided to investigate the source of the noise. It walked on the roof of its house and eventually found a comfortable spot to sit on as it observed through the window of the house next door. What had caused the loud noise was the man who lived next door as he had slammed the door to his room and was now pacing around in it. The dark grey and white cat looked at the man with its lightly faded green eyes with interest as he was angrily muttering to himself. "The wretched fools" he said to himself "Why will they not listen? I almost had them convinced! What happened?". He paced around some more and then stopped, getting more and more agitated. The cat, starting to lose interest, was about to get up and leave when the man let out a bellow of rage and smashed the big mirror on his wall to the ground and yelled "Can't you see you ignorant fools? I am only trying to help our people!". He seems angry enough. I wonder what tied his tail in a bunch, thought the cat. It was distracted from its thoughts when a fly passed by and fired up some playful hunter's instinct within it. It started to swat at it playfully, its attention now gone from the angry man. No sooner than it had started going after the fly did the cat think, in a much more complex and human fashion than would be normal for a cat, You need to focus on that man. Important things depend on it. Heeding its own advice (at least, that's what the cat thought) it went back to its spot and continued observing the man who was now standing over the splintered remains of what was once an elegant mahogany desk. "CURSE IT ALL!!!" he shrieked in a voice that made that cat's hair stand up on end "I SHALL NOT SUFFER THIS HUMILIATION!!!". He was quiet for a few moments. When he spoke again it was in his normal voice, this time, sounding defeated, sad and in pain, on his knees and nearly doubled over. "I only wanted to help... why can they not see that?" he said, tears streaming down his face. Finally, thought the cat, The real Rasocren broke through. It's time that he died, isn't it? Almost immediately after, his voice turned demonic again, almost spitting acid he exclaimed "It is time to teach them a lesson! One that they shall never forget!". He hesitates and, his voice back to normal, he squeaks "N-no... w-w-we cannot do that!". Seemingly bellowing in response to himself, his demonic voice responds "What better plan do you suggest?! They must learn that when they defy our will, they pay the price!!". Stammering in terror Rasocren said "I-I have a better solution. I will go to the people and announce my plan without consulting the Council. The people will listen and they will agree!" "They will never agree, you know that Rasocren! You must teach them the other way!" said demonic Rasocren. Outraged and afraid, Rasocren exclaimed "Never! I could never do such a thing. No, no my way is better. It will work, I guarantee it." The demon simply scoffed and said "Fine, be a pathetic coward. However, when your plan miserably fails, we will do things the right way. My way!". The cat, licking its paws, thought to itself with satisfaction that was not its own, Good. Things are going according to plan.
