Gemma's POV:

I know what your thinking. You've probably asked the same question to yourself  everyday of your life. What is your purpose here on earth?

You see the purpose to living a life doesn't necessary means to have good within. But to also see the unfairness unfolds. And that might almost sound the same of anybodies own meaning, but I'm just sharing mine.
People probably think that knowing yourself, you might know what you want to be.

Take it from me I'm a certificate scientist at the ISCA. I work to serve people. To find out answers. And let me tell you this. Not everything is worth finding. Cause the things that you've search for won't probably exist. And there could be disappointment within that.

But, my husband made sure I would understand that not everything will go my way. And he was right, I would soon learn to accept his words. As his work in the military's air force, he made it his job to take the risk for his country. Even on the long night calls we shared, he had the time to meet me no matter what. He was hard to find, that I promised.

               ...... Flashback .........

His life story wasn't easy though, we met in at the ISCA,couple years back, where I was currently being interviewed there. And I got my big break as a trainee. We sorted out at a rocky surface, as I was giving a tour to the military crew. They stayed there at the center for at a year. We bucked up with each other at a long night in the lab. He was the only one at a current research. I happened to stay up a little more to see the charts for tommorow. As I was ready to turn off the lab lights. I got a glimpse of him. His sweaty body and wearing that attire, made him look like a celeb out of a movie. With his tone muscles flexing while he worked his pen against the paperwork.

"Uh.. Can I help you?", he asked me. I snapped out of it only to meet his hazel eyes.

"Yeah. Um.. I'm suppose to be shutting off the lights of the lab. It's a late night now", I said. Pushing back my blonde hair strand back to my ear.

"Oh okay", he said. Turning back to his work. I standed there in awkwarkness. "I'll be done in a minute. This chemical reaction formula is really interesting".

Oh so he was just learning the formulas.

"Formulas? Like seriously?", I chuckled.  He turned around smiling.

"Yeah", he said. "What like know all of them?", he snorted.

"Is that a challenge?", I asked with a lingering smile. Pushing up my red frame glasses.

"Yeah goldilocks", he said. "Name the 5 formula  of fire correctly them and you'll get to turn of the lights. If you answer incorrectly you'll leave the lights on while I use it in peace".

"Okay sounds fair enough", I said. Going to the board, I carried my hair in two ponytails looking like a nerdy teen. "The formula for fire is gradually  2C+O (2) square.   0c2- 4y, z2x <0, 2c02 and finally 2/c+3. Easy", I smiled. His mouth dropped and I then let down my hair taking abow. "Thank you and thank you", I praised to an imaginary applause. I then walked back to the door. "What's your name again?".

"Micheal", he smiled.

"Well Micheal seems like you lose the bet", I announced.  I then turn off the the switchto the light. Leaving him in the dark.
