SONIC: Was it just a feudal fairytale?

Chapter 1

Amy POV

Ugh... I suddenly look around, and it's pitched black everywhere. My eyes are little by little getting used to the dark, and I can see I'm inside the well. The Bone Eater's well, and... Wait! How come I know what this is, if it's the first time I see it in my life?!

I get up and try to climb up the well, so that I can get out. As I do so, I notice that my outfit has changed, and I'm not wearing my usual red dress. What I'm wearing now is... a school uniform?

Yeah, I have read about those, and I think that what I'm wearing now is called seifuku. I'm wearing a seifuku with white blouze, green skirt and "wrists", and a red ribbon on the chest. Hmm. Not bad. (though the first thing I thought was: What's with the odd outfit? he he..). My legs also feel different, because I'm wearing long (kinda loose) white shocks and a pair of brown shoes that the eldery used to wear (and I think they still do). EWW.

At last, I'm out! I jump out of the well, and land on the grass. Strange. I look around me and see a whole forest. Great. Now I'm completely convinced that I'm not in Mobius anymore. A name immediately comes in my mind:  Feudal Japan, Feudal Era... I ignore it and, scared, try to think what's happening. How come I know all these? I've never been here, it's like a complete other dimension of the universe. But despite all those, my curiosity eventually beats me, and I start walking towards the forest...

As I'm passing by the tall trees, I'm trying to think a way to return back in Mobius. At first, I'm trying to remember how I got here, but, paralysed with fear, I discover I can't even remember much how I am! I know that I know who I am, but I can't remember my name, my identity... It's like the memory of my name is fading away, and I'm trying so hard to keep it alive... "What now" I thought. "Shadow had also lost his memory once, but he remembered what his name was". Though I'm trying to keep my fading away memories, I'm happy I can at least remember Shadow...

I suddenly stop, and look at the tree in front of me.

My eyes widen, and for some reason get filled with tears.

I see a boy. He's a hedgehog, like me. He is blue, and he's wearing a red outfit, like a robe. He is pinned to the tree with an arrow, in the spot where his heart is. He seems sound asleep, but for sone reason, he did not wake up when I made some noise while walking towards him.

"Umm... Excuse me..." I say as I keep walking. I stop right under the spot where he is pinned to. A tear falls on my shirt, and only then I realize that my eyes are full-filled with tears and I'm literally crying.

This guy reminds me so much of a person that I care for, a person that I love... But the fact that I can't bring myself to remember his name, rips my heart into pieces. I have only one image of him in my mind. He's smiling, and telling me: "Everything's gonna be fine. I'll always be by your side. I will never leave you alone, so don't be afraid".

I decide to climb up to this guy, and I do so, as I'm trying to dry my tears.

I reach him. "Umm, what are you..." I stop. I feel that my instinct is telling me something.. My eyes roll directly to his fluffy ears.

"I think I wanna... touch' em!"

After a while, I feel ridiculous. "OK, that's enough!" I say to myself, releasing his ears from my hands. Oh God, for some reason I am barely forcing myself not to burst into tears. It's too hard.

I turn my head and look at the arrow that's pinning this guy to the tree. My hand slowly moves towards it, and I'm ready to grab and try to pull it out, but...

Suddenly, a "rainfall" of arrows comes across, and they are pinned right above our heads. I gasp, as I hug the guy, trying to cover myself.

I slowly turn around and see hedgehog and echidna warriors, holding bows and arrows and pointing at me.

"Hey, you! What are you doing over there?!" they yell at me. "Come down right now! How dare you trying to free HIM?! Are you a spy or something?"

What the heck is going on here? They make it look like the sealed away boy is an enemy! I sense that it can't be true.

"Ahem, um... Excuse me, but, I think you're making a mistake..." I say, as I try to get down. "I'm not a spy or whatever, and I don't think this boy is..."

But as soon as I get down, they capture me, and tie me up with ropes.

"Huh?!" I gasp. "Why... But why are you..."

"Come with us" they say (fiercely), as they take me and we head for the nearby village.
