SONIC: Was it just a feudal fairytale?

Chapter 2

Amy POV

As we arrive at the village, they throw me down and tie up my legs.

"Heeeyyy!!" I roar.

The residents of the village slowly come out of their huts and gather around me. They are all hedgehogs, echidnas and chipmunks of every colour. At least, I'm not alone in this strange place.

"Who is she?"

"She's a hedgehog, too!"

"Are we sure it's not a demon or a spy?"

"Look at the odd way she's dressed!"

"Hey, that's rude" I thought. But now that they mentioned it, I'm the only one here who wears "modern" clothes. All the residents are wearing robes, kimonos and clothes that people used to wear back in the 16th century!

Only then my brain started working again. "No, don't tell me..."

"Clear the way! Lady Kaede has arrived!" one of the warriors says.

As the residents clear the way, I see an old chipmunk coming.

She's brown with dark red bangs and has an eye cover covering her right eye. She's wearing a traditional miko (priestess) dress (red loose pants and white "kimono").

She comes closer and begins to throw some kind of dust (?!) at me.

"Hey, please stop!" I grumble, as I struggle not to sneeze. "I'm not a demon, okay?"

"You're not?" she asks. "Then why were you in the forest of Inuyasha?"

Forest of Inuyasha? Then this guy must be...

"Uhh...well..." I begin to respond, but Lady Kaede comes closer to me.

"Let me see your face." she says as she grabs and pries it.

"Try to look more intelligent."

"Whaaa...?!"

"Hmm... You resemble... my older sister Kikyo." Lady Kaede says and releases my face. She turns towards the villagers.

"Everything is okay, you don't need to be afraid. This girl is not a demon. And I can sense she's not a spy either."

Lady Kaede turns towards me and unties my legs so that I can get up and walk.

"Come with me." she says, and I follow her into her hut.

"Will you have some?" Lady Kaede asks, giving me a bowl with some soup.

"Oh, thank you very much." I say. "But... could you untie my hands first?"

"So" Lady Kaede says, "you say you come from a planet called Mo...bius... And you suddenly found yourself here."

"Yes." I reply while eating some soup. "And I wouldn't mind getting back home."

"I don't know much about your kind of magic, but, do you think that your bracelet can help you?"

Only then I realize that I'm wearing a black bracelet with the symbol of eternity in a blue, pink and yellow colour.

Before I can respond, we hear people screaming and very loud noises.

We immediately run out of the hut to see a huge six-armed centipede monster attacking the villagers and killing the animals. Many warriors are surrounding her and trying to shoot her, but it's almost impossible, as she wounds them or throws them away.

"Oh my goodness, this is a terrible disaster!" Lady Kaede yells.

"We have to do something to help!" I yell as well.

The monster suddenly stops attacking.

"I sense it. I sense it! Oh, yes, finally! It must be here!" she says, and immediately turns towards ME.

"You... You have it...! Give it to me! Give me the Shikon Jewel!!!"
