Yusei's POV

I got up and got dressed and left for school as I had a long walk.

After I got there I saw three girls talking to jack, I assumed they were flirting with him but soon one of them waved at me and I waved back and I learned they were asking about me i was sad as i had just found out that my great grandmother was dying and i remembered how she always was so sweet and kind to me, How even if i messed up she never yelled.

Trudge's POV

As i was watching tv in the living room i heard a knock at the door and i opened it, I looked down and saw a basket with a tiny baby and a note in it saying,

This baby boy's name is yusei.

He is very sickly and needs a great home.

I couldn't believe that someone would just leave a what looked to be an almost newborn baby in this july heat, I took the tiny baby inside and made sure he'd be ok.

The tiny baby seemed so fragile he was so small I wondered why was this small baby left on our doorstep, I'd only seen that in movies never in real life, I shortly after called both my wife martha and my friend rex about twenty minutes after martha got home rex arrived he seemed worried as he saw the baby he asked. " What happened " I told him as he was making sure that the baby was ok. * I heard someone knocking on the front door and I went to check and saw him in a basket and I brought him in and called you and martha " Rex recognized the baby and said.

" So he's hakase and kimiko's son " I nodded and asked. " Yes why? " Rex seemed to be holding back tears and said. " Hakase and kimiko were found dead in their car " I was stunned to hear that hakase and kimiko were dead.

" Would you and martha be willing to adopt this infant "Rex asked and i nodded as rex smiled and handed the baby to me.

I've been so worried recently i mean it's only the second week of school and the first week was already hectic enough, I just want stuff to calm down at least a little, As i was getting to my class I saw these two girls looking at me with smirks on their faces, I knew they were talking about me probably about to pick on me.

As was walking I dropped my phone i learned down to pick it up, Those two girls came up to me and took my phone out of my hand. " Hey! Give that back! " The brown haired girl then said shoving me into the wall and said. " How could someone like you have such a nice phone " Then the other girl said. " He probably had jack buy it for him " Then the brown haired girl smashed my phone that my great grandmother bought me.

The brown haired girl hit me and took my bag and dumped all of my stuff on the floor and threw my bento on the floor causing all of my lunch to spill out on the floor. " Hey! You two get away from him! " I heard someone yell at the girls and after they ran off the boy who yelled said to me. " Here let me help you get your stuff " after he helped me get my stuff in my bag and clean up the mess that was made after the girls threw my lunch on the floor and I washed my bento and put it in my bag.

" By the way my name is broder " I heard the boy say as I picked up my broken phone carefully as i replied. " My name is yusei " He then asked me. " Are you ok though? " I nodded and started walking to my class.

As I sat down at my desk I heard that practically everyone talking about either horror movies or an upcoming school event.

I didn't want to talk about horror movie as I don't like watching horror movies and I heard someone ask me. " Hey yusei have you ever seen any good horror movies " I looked up and said. " N...no I don't watch horror movies " Then I guess as jack noticed that I was nervous so he changed the subject.
