Trump POV

The plane had just landed, Mike was the first one off. I shortly followed after him, admiring the back of his white head.

We had landed right next to the golf course, so it wouldn't be a long walk till we got there.

While we were walking there, with a security guard in front of us and one behind us, I decided to make small talk.

"So what's it like being the governor of Indiana," I said, looking and Mike cutely.

"I mean, pretty much like any other job like it, like the president, but not as stressful," He said with a chuckle, and then making contact with me for the first time since we had gotten off the plane, under his stare I felt weak, in a good way of course.

Before I knew it, we were already there, and I had been admiring Mike the whole time without him noticing, my orangey complexion immediately heated up at the thought of him catching me staring, luckily he didn't seem to care, or at least he didn't mention it.

We walked up to the registration area, and requested to start golfing farther away from anyone, didn't want any crazy fans to bother us. As we got onto the golf cart, Pence and I sat in the back together, and the two security guards up in the front, one driving us to the spot.

As we drove there, my eyes nervously darted around, and then I noticed our hands laying right next to each other, I quickly stole a glance up at Mike, he saw me and smirked. I quickly looked away, embarrassed that I got caught staring,, but how couldn't you stare at him..?

My thoughts were interrupted by the feeling of a hand wrapping around my----- hand. I looked down at our intertwined fingers, and then back up at Mike, he was looking off in the distance. I quickly blushed and looked away, not sure how to feel about this.

D-did he like me too? Could this be the start of something? Omg what if we're the first out gay presidents-

My thoughts were interrupted when the golf cart stopped and Mike pulling away his hand from mine. I felt disappointed, honestly. But I knew it was for the best, we couldn't let even the security guards know.

I got off after Mike, seeing that we arrived at our destination, right next to the pond I liked. The security guards handed us our golfing stuff, then walked away, to keep a better eye on us, and to give us our privacy.

After they had walked away, I looked up at Pence, hoping maybe he would say something about him holding my hand, just a few seconds ago.

"Trump, I wanna tell you something.. but you have to promise not to judge me for it and keep it a secret.." Mike said, looking away from me, probably from nervousness.

"You can tell me anything, Mike, you can trust me." I said, hoping to calm his nerves, and making sure he knew he could trust me with anything.

"Yknow Karen... my wife.." He started off, I looked towards him and nodded, until I realized he couldn't see me, so I replied with a quick yep, before he continued. "I.. I don't think I love her anymore.. in fact I'm even questioning if I ever did.. I.. I.. I think I may be g-"

Before he could finish his sentence, I had lost my balance and started slipping, not realizing what was happening, I slipped in to the pond beside me.

Pence noticed this, and without a second thought, he quickly jumped into the pond. He dove down and dragged me to the surface, quicker than the body guards could even get to the pond.

I coughed up water, and looked at him. He was.. my .. my saviour. I looked at him, water still in my eyes, "Thank you, Mike,, you.. you saved me" I said, with real gratitude. Nobody had ever done something so nice and meaningful for me, I mean of course, people have helped me before. But never with that type of determination and immediate reaction. I could feel, there was something between us.
