She can't know the truth

I can't believe after all of that she just gets ready and bolts out the door! Lucy thought angrily. "Maybe it's better this way! But I wish I knew what this makes us right now." She explained as she looked up at her ceiling. I wonder what Erza is up to at home right now.
Erza finally made it home and used her reequip magic to put on her favorite pink pajamas with strawberry cakes on them. "Finally made it home! But why did I want to get out of there so quickly?" Erza thought aloud. As she pondered a bit she was overcome with a painful memory of a past relationship with another guild member.
"Come one Erza, you know I would never hurt you!" Mirajane explained as tears filled her eyes. "Mira, how could you explain this?!" She angerily roared as she saw her girlfriend in bed with another woman from the guild Cana. "Hey Erza, instead of being mad you can join in if you want!" Cana yelled drunken. I can't believe she would do this and with Cana out of all people! I need to get out of here now! Erza quickly turned around and stormed out.
Wow that was a very old memory. I just can't have the same thing happen again. I need to protect my heart at all costs.
As she snapped back to reality she felt tears rolling down her cheek. "I can't let that happen again. I don't want to get hurt again like that!" Erza snarled. "Well no time to really dissect what's going on, it's probably best to act like everything is normal tomorrow." She said as she rolled over and fell asleep.
*the next day*
*beep beep* what is that? *beep beep* sounds like my alarm. *beep beep* "Aaahh! It is my alarm!!" Lucy quickly wakes up and hits her alarm. *sigh* as she looks around the bare room and sees her clothes scattered, remembers her lust filled night with the queen of fairies Erza. "Wow, I can't believe that still happened last night." Lucy ponders.
Well from the way she acted it seems like it was a one night stand type of deal. Ugh I'm so stupid how could I ever think that a guild member and myself could ever be an item. As she shakes off the thought she hurriedly walks towards the bath and finally takes one.
*Meanwhile at the guild*
Erza finally walks into the guild and walks over towards the bar where her ex Mirajane is working. "Why look who it is! Nice to see you Erzie." Mira joyfully explains. "I told you NOT to call me that anymore Mira." Erza snarled back at her greeting. Taken back, Mira responds "I thought we could still be friends Erzie." "Let's keep it civil for other members to not send the wrong signals." Erza says coldly to her ex lover. "Okay fine, Erza have it your way. What would you like?" Mira asks more seriously. "The usual." Erza responds. Then the sound of the guilds main doors open and Lucy walks through then and scans the room for her crush. "Why hello Lucy." Mira says from across the room sweetly. As Erza heard that she looked behind her seeing the blonde beauty standing there looking as adorable as ever.
Wow she's so cute when she stands there and looking for something. Wait! Something...or perhaps someone?! Maybe me? As Erza guzzles her drink down she quickly puts her hands on the counter making a loud noise and grabs the attention of Lucy. "Oh Erza! There you are, I have a question for you!." Lucy says as she skips towards Erza. Erza quickly runs towards the bathroom but gets stopped by Natsu. "Mornin' Erza, looks like Lucy is coming this way." The firebreathing wizard snarls. Erza trying to compose herself turned and waves Natsu to shoo away. "Ah, Lucy good to see you this morning." She awkwardly responds.
Looking a bit confused Lucy responds, "Look about last nigh-" As she was about to finish her sentence Erza grabs her arm and gently pushes her up against the wall. "Shhhh!" Erza motioned her with her finger and covers her mouth. "Can we talk about this outside?" Erza asked in a low voice. Nodding yes, Lucy obliges and Erza moves her hand from her mouth and drags her outside with her through the back door.
"You have something to say Lucy?" Erza asks. "Why yes, I was wondering what was up with you? I thought that maybe..." Lucy explained her face beet red. "Come on, spit it out." Erza commanded. "Well I had a good time last night and I can tell you did too. But I have to confess....I can't stop thinking about you." Lucy confesses. "Shocked Erza stands in front of Lucy thinking about the next thing she should say.
