(a/n): ok I'm slowly starting to realize dance partner isn't really a good title I might change it soon, any suggestions? On the side is a picture of Connie. I randomly found it on the internet. I will be posting pictures of Christian and Haley soon.

Ian's POV

"So let me get this straight..." Haley said, "you two use to date....you're the one he cheated on me with" ouch...that must be a kick to the ribs for her..."and you two are "friends"?" She said to Connie, Christian, and I. We all nodded.

"you two work together?" Christian asked Haley and I

"yes." We both said and grinned getting strange looks from our dates.

"And this is your girlfriend?" Connie asked

"EX!!! Girlfriend" Woah....was that suppose to be a hint to me?

Don't read too much into it Ian.

Again with the talking to myself.

"yup" Christian said...shit I almost zoned out.

"ok...." Haley and I said at the same time again...lol, I know I won't hear the end of it when I get home tonight.

"So why don't you join us for dinner?" Haley asked

"ouch..." Haley said quietly?

"So what do you say" she asked again

"OUCH!!! Stop kicking me you asshole!" Damnnnnn I bet Christian is embarrassed.

"oww" I said earning a kick from Connie

"that's not funny" she whispered

"ok..." Haley began, "now that we're all done play "footsie" with our dates I'm really hungry so can we order please?"

Aww, she's so adorable...

"Are you guys ready to order?" Asked the waiter with a smile.

"yes" we all said together

"what would you like?"

"I'd like a..." but before I could finish he cut me off

"actually, I was speaking to the beautiful young lady next to you." He said while looking at Haley then giving her a wink....that bastard must have a death wish....but before I could say something Christian butted in.

"Hey pal, leave my girl alone, if I catch you looking at her for more than two seconds I will rip you in half...." Christian said with a sneer, "just bring us all meatballs and pasta and a bottle of chardonnay and a glass of water for my girl." With that he scurried off.

I was so upset, not at the fact that he ordered for us, because to be honest that's what I wanted, but it was the fact that he stood up for Haley...I wanted that to be my job, the way she looked at him with such admiration and amazement pissed me off. Maybe she's falling for him all over again, but I'll be damned if I let that happen.

Haley's POV

I can't believe Christian said that to the waiter, and I just sat there like an idiot even when he called me "his girl"...omg Haley please don't fall for his tricks again. I have to swear I won't, but it was so hot how he stood up for me. But remember he's a douche.....gosh my head is starting to hurt, I really need to stop talking to myself let alone argue with myself. But what shocked me was how tense Ian became, I was like he wanted to say or do something, but he couldn't.....maybe it was because Christian beat him to the punch...or maybe because his GIRLFRIEND IS RIGHT THERE!!!! Oh crap I almost forgot about her...silly me, I'm surprised the waiter didn't say anything to her I mean come one she has everything out on display, no class what so ever....this is going to be one hell of a night.
