It was a boring night when Gassidy got an incoming call from her new roommate, Samantha.

"Gass?" asked Samantha.
"Yes, Sam, what do you want?" replied Gass.
"I know you're new to the city but I was wondering if you wanted to hang. It's your birthday tomorrow! Let's party! We're at Club 21"
"I don't know, I'm only 17. Isn't that illegal?" Gass protested.
Samatha pleaded "Come on Gass, I want to get to know my new roomie!"
"Ugh fine I'll see u soon"
"Thanks! Your the best!" exclaimed Sam.

Gassidy put on a mid-thigh black skirt and a silver top made of satin. She painted red lips and smokey eyeshadow on her face, but she left the rest bare. She took her towel off her head and blow-dried her hair until it was straight with a slight curl at the end. She put on some silver jewelry and bright red stilettos that matched her lipstick and walked out the door.

Gassidy walked to the nearest bus station and waited for a bus. The bus came and she was off to Club 21.

She got off the bus and walked into the crowd of people waiting for the bouncer to let them in. Gassidy started to get anxious because all the people in line were at least 21 and she was only 17, not even a legal adult. She waited for 15 minutes until she was at the front. Gassidy nervously looked up at the bouncer. He looked back with a cold stare. He definitely knew that she was underage.

"Can I see your ID please." asked the bouncer.
"Um yes can I just look for it please?" stammered Gassidy.
"Fine" snapped the bouncer, "Just step out of the line so the other prepared people can come in."
"U-Um ok-k-k-k" stuttered Gassidy. Shit, she thought.

Gassidy walked to the side of the line. She called Sam but no one answered. She called her again and a random man picked up the phone.
"Hello," he breathed. Gassidy heard hushed voices in the background, then just Sam's.
"HEYYYYOOOOOO GASSIE BABY!! ARE YOU HEREEEEEEEE???"
"Um yeah I'm outside but I don't have an ID, and the bouncer creeps me out," replied Gassidy.
"OHHHHHH YOU MEAN GUS-GUS? HE'S PRETTY CHILL! I'LL COME OUT AND GET YOU NOWWWWW!" screamed Sam, clearly intoxicated.

Within a few minutes, Sam appeared. She grabbed Gassidy's hand and stumbled over to Gus-Gus.

"HIIIIII GUSSIE POO. MY FRIEND GASSIE AND I ARE GOING TO GO IN, OKIE DOKIE? I WOULDNT ASK QUESTIONS IF I WERE YOU! BYEEEEE!" interjected Sam.

When Gassidy walked in she got hit with the stench of smoke and alcohol. She never felt the constant need to drink of an alcoholic, but tonight she definitely could go for a tequila.

Sam sat with her at the bar and order tequila shots for both of them. Sam chugged them down and found another boy to hook up with before Gass even got the shot in her hand. She swirled the clear liquid around in a small glass and downed it immediately. It burned her throat as it went down, but she liked the pain. She looked where Sam once sat and sighed. She was all alone. Her eyes wandered around the circular bar, and to her surprise, they meet with icy blue eyes she could swim in. The stare was so intense that she had to look away. She took another shot to ease her rapid breathing. It felt better than the last but the burn was ingrained in her throat.
The bartender, in an intense British accent, said: "Hello love, what's a pretty girl like you doing here all alone?"
"I was here with my new roommate but I don't know where she is. It's my birthday tomorrow so I guess you could say we're celebrating?" Blurted Gassidy.
The bartender turned around for a few minutes then came back with a pink fruity looking drink.
He announced "A pretty drink for a pretty lady from the nice man over there."
Gassidy looked where the man pointed it was the man with the icy eyes. She looked over to himself and she could only she his side profile. Her eyes wandered from his wavy hair to his icy blue eyes to his defined jaw line. Right when she almost got a clear look at his face, he turned around with a group of the men around him and walked out the back door.

Gassidy took a sip of the drink, it tasted like fruit and wine. She looked at the menu and concluded that is was a Pink Grapefruit Sparkling Rose Margarita. She drank the drink and checked the time. She wanted to go home, she was all alone because Sam left her. Gassidy checked her watch. It was almost 2. She arrived at the club around 1. "I should head to the bus stop, the next bus is in 14 minutes." Gassidy thought to herself. She paid for the drink and thanked the bartender then got out of the seat.

She shimmied her way through the large crowd. When she reached the entrance she texted Sam that she left. No response, she was probably hanging with other people. Gassidy walked out of the big front door and walked down the block to the bus station.
