Wrote this real quick it's something that just came to mind. What y'all think? Would y'all read if i made it a story?

Naomi Lovelace or better know as Ms.Lovelace strutted into the court room dressed to impress as usual.

She was 15 minutes late but no body dared to call her out on it not even the judge— she was that bitch in the courts and on the streets too.

She took a seat next to her defendant. She had briefly looked over his case and seen it was some drug trafficking chargers, that was a piece of cake.

She leaned over to her client who she is seeing today for the first time and whispered "You might as well consider yourself a free man"

"Ms. Lovelace— you may present your case."

She stood to her feet and walked to the desk of the judge. Her heals clicked with every step she took.

"Your honor my client Mr. Santiago here was illegally searched with no reason by two officers from your zone 5 police force. Also he was not read his Miranda rights when he was being roughly arrested by the arresting officers."

She took two steps back knowing she just won her case right there.

The judge looked to the Police force's Lawyer and tipped his glasses at him.

"Mr.Johnson is this correct your officers didn't read mr. Santiago his rights and illegally searched his car with of a probable reason?"

He nervously fixed his tie knowing the lost the case.

Mr. Santiago or better know as Amir leaned back in his seat pleased with the work that his beautiful lawyer is doing.

He can tell she respected and he loves a well respect woman because his name is very respected in the streets.

"Your honor — they searched his car because he was a known king pin. He was under surveillance for distribution of controlled substances at a federal level, sex trafficking and suspected to have ordered multiple killings around the city of Detroit."

"But what cause did they have to search the vehicle other then speculation at the time of the arrest and you skipped my question did your officers not read him his Miranda rights?"

"Uh your honor No they did not read his Miranda right but it was due to him resisting arrest—"

"I object" Naomi said

"On what grounds?" He asked

Amir was watching intently everything that was happening. His freedom was on the line.

"He is speaking false information— i have a copy of the officers dash cam here as exhibit A which clearly shows my client was not resisting arrest and complied to everything your officers asked of him. They proceeded roughly, reckless and carelessly."

Everyone in the courts watch the officers roughly pull Amir out the car and slam him to the ground and proceeded to use a taser on him.

She paused the video "And to add my client would like to press chargers on the arresting officers for police brutality as you can clearly see here"

Amir jaw almost dropped but he kept his shit together surprised at what's happening before him. This woman was no joke he thought as he eyed her figure from head to toe in the white skirt and blazer she paired with a pink lace shirt under.

"Your honor" the other lawyer called out in a plea knowing they were in some shit and they were about to pay.

The judge shook his head and slammed his gavel down 2 times "I've come to a verdict!" He said

"I find the plaintiff Amir Santiago not guilty on all charges due to the fact the officers have no training and roughly handled him and did not read his rights. I also will allow you to pursue charges against officer Monroe and officer Howard on a further date that you can schedule with the clerk after.

As for you Mr. Johnson please don't come back into my room unless you have got your police force some training. And you have evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. Court adjourned"

She turned and walked to Amir finally taking the time to take in his appearance. He was a beautiful piece of man that she had no time for.

He stood to his feet as he wired 2 mill to her bank to show his appreciation and to let her know that he wanted to continue business with her. His job is risky and being the boss can come with a lot of issues if shit don't go as planned . He needed her he knew she was best of the best.

She packed up her briefcase and looked at Amir
"Mr. Santiago I'm Ms. Lovelace your lawyer. I'm sorry i couldn't make our meeting prior to this hearing i was wrapped up in a very long and stressful case. My apologies." She said trying her best to hide the slang that usually flowed when she was around friends and family.

"No problems it's all good." He said nodding at her

"I will have my assistant schedule the hearing against the precinct immediately and she will reach out to you and your staff with the detail on that and when you can come to my office to meet."

He nodded "Sounds like a plan— i really appreciate how hard you went for me."

She gave him a friendly smile that hid the thoughts that her mind was having about him "It's my pleasure that's what I'm here for to make sure your a walking free man. I'm sorry to run so quickly but i have a meeting on the other side of town and i have to get going."

"It's fine love— thank you again and imma look forward to seeing you again." He said sending a flirty smirk her way before she walked off.

Her stomach was doing cartwheels but she held her composure — she didn't need no man especially one who belonged to the nothing but the streets.

She made her way out the courthouse to the SUV that held her driver James who was waiting to take her to her next meeting.

Naomi Lovelace | 2 Weeks later

"Ms.Naomi you have your 2 o'clock here"

I felt my stomach get butterflies, the man who's face has been burned in my mind since the day i met him.

I don't know why and I'm trying everything in my power to change that.

"Send him back" i said to my assistant Lena.

She nodded walking out the office.

Moments later she came in with the walking sex on legs trailing behind her. She gave me a sly smirk with a raised brown knowing she knew something.

He walked in and she left out shutting the door behind her.

"Mr. Santiago—"

"Call me Amir ma." He said taking a seat in the chair in front of my desk.

He wore a white crisp tee and some light blue jeans with some Jordan's.

"Well Amir I'm a busy woman so let's get to business."

He smiled his beautiful smile "Too busy for a date?" He asked with a raised brow.

I felt my body heat up "Please keep this strictly business and if you must know yes I'm too busy to date. I'm married to my work no time to games or distractions."

He nodded licking his lips with a smile still on his face "Yeah okay we gone see so wassup?" He asked

We went over his case and everything he needed to know. We also discussed a open case he has and i picked it up and chose to defend him.

More like he begged me and not to say he did wire me 2 mill after our court hearing.

"Well that's everything for today— I'll see you Next Thursday to go over the last minute details before Fridays hearing okay?" I asked him to confirm.

He nodded "If i get to see that beautiful face I'll be here."

I rolled my eyes "Strictly business Amir"

"Heard you"
