(^I have a bunch of pictures of Katelynn for another book I'm writing but that's not coming out for a little while. I'm just using it now cause I don't know what picture to use of Payton.^ Also just a warning that the POV changes a lot in this chapter so get ready.)

Payton's POV
It hurt knowing Bryleigh thought she couldn't trust me. I love her and I would never do anything to hurt her. I need to show her she can trust me. "Okay! Y'all can stop kissing now! She's still my sister!" Anthony always ruins the mood. We pull away and I look at Anthony. 'Really dude? I haven't seen her in a month.'  "Anthonyyy do have to ruin everything?" "Sorry Bry, but I don't want to see one of my bestfriends making out with my sister all the time." What? We've been dating for forever, why is he still like this?

Bryleigh's POV
"Sorry Bry, but I don't want to see one of my bestfriends making out with my sister all the time." I don't know why but that hurt a lot. He always says how Payton and I are perfect together, why is he saying that? I thought he liked us dating. I let go of Payton and looked at everyone really quick. My phone buzzed and I saw a message from Jackson.

Jackson🙄: Hey, I know I hurt you in the past but I want you back. I promise not to do any of that again. I was in a bad place and instead of talking to you about it, I hurt you. That was the worst mistake I have ever and will ever make. I'm so sorry Bry.

No one saw the message but they saw the way my face changed when I read the name. "Hey Babe, are you okay?" 'Uh, yeah, I'll be right back I have to go call someone.' "Wait! Bry I know that face. Was it-" 'Yeah, Avani will you girls come with me?'

Payton's POV
Bryleigh said she was going to calm someone but Avani stopped her. "Yeah, Avani will you girls come with me?" 'What about us? Why can't we come?' The way Avani was talking to Bryleigh worried me. "It's none of your business right now Payton. It's okay, we'll watch her. Just hang out with the boys." What the hell is Olivia talking about? As the girls were walking away I heard Avani ask Bry, "What did he say Bry?" Who is she talking about?

Avani's POV
Bryleigh got a text and when her face changed as she read it I knew it had something to do with Jackson, so the girls and I went with her to call him. 'What did he say Bry?' She shows me the text and I hand the phone to Nessa as I hug Bryleigh.

Payton's POV
I was watching the girls walk with Bryleigh, when Avani looks at Bry's phone. She looks at her, and gives the phone to Nessa before hugging Bryleigh.

Anthony was watching the girls too, but as he saw Avani hug Bryleigh, his face changed, he looks like he knew what was going on. 'Ant, do you know what they're talking about?' He looks at me and back at the girls. "I think so, um I'll be right back I need to go ask Avani." He walks up to the girls. He starts talking to Avani, but soon says "FUCK!" very loudly, before pulling Bryleigh away and picks her up, taking her upstairs. I look at the guys and run past the girls who yell after me, "Payton don't!" Olivia grabs my arm and pulls me back. 'Why? What's going on?' "You don't know everything about Bryleigh, and there's stuff she doesn't want you to know. This is one of those things, just comfort her. Don't ask about what's going on, don't ask until she's ready to tell you." I just stare at Avani while she's talking, taking in everything she says. 'Alright, I won't ask but I really got to go to her.' They all nod and I run upstairs to the room Bryleigh and I are sharing.
