"what the heck!" seungmin yelled as he covered his eyes.

"why are you covering your eyes, shorty? i'm wearing sweatpants. it's not like i'm naked or anything," hyunjin chuckled, making seungmin turn into a deep shade of red.

"out of all of the bathrooms, why'd you decide to take a shower here?!"

"dunno. i like this bathroom the most out of all the ones we have," hyunjin tilted his head to the side, "anyways, what the hell are you doing here?"

seungmin took his hands out of his face, "my dad and mr. hwang had to talk about business-related stuff," seungmin's eyes slowly made its way to the taller's defined and toned six-pack, which just seemed to look so captivating.

hyunjin seemed to notice that seungmin's eyes were stuck on his abs, "yeah, i know right? i'm muscular and fit," he chuckled, "time for you to actually start being active, you fatass."

this wasn't the first time hyunjin had called him names, so it just went right through him like a mother telling her child to go and do their chores.

"oh!" mrs. juhee, the caretaker, quickly walked up to the two boys, "mr. hwang is calling you guys down for dinner, hurry up!" she then turned around to walk away.

seungmin looked up at hyunjin, "aren't you gonna put on a shirt?"

hyunjin grinned, "nah. and, don't tell me what to do."

the two boys then made their way to the dining room, sitting themselves down far away from each other. seungmin sat down beside his dad, meanwhile hyunjin sat down across the table.

"what are you doing sitting there so far, hyunjin? come," mr. hwang gestured hyunjin to come and sit in front of seungmin.

hyunjin hesitated at first, but slowly walked over and sat himself down right in front of seungmin. growing up, hyunjin was always taught to treat people nicely, which is ironic because he always treats seungmin like shit.

seungmin's dad took a bite from the bibimbap that was being served, "this is super good."

"yeah? mr. kerr doing us justice as always," chuckled mr. hwang as he took a bite out of the food, "hyunjin, how was your social exam today?"

hyunjin sighed, "i got a 17 out of 41 on that test. i actually don't even know what's wrong with my brain," he explained, "i'm doing kinda okay on the other subjects but just not social."

mr. hwang took a sip out of his coffee, "is that so?" he deeply sighed, "is it because of your current tutor?"

hyunjin shrugged, "i dunno. probably? she always touches me and it's so weird."

"jeez... okay, we'll get you a new tutor. but, you do know it's hard finding one nowadays, right?"

"sorry about that," hyunjin went back to eating.

"mr. hwang, i actually have someone great in mind that could help hyunjin with his studies," seungmin's dad ruffled seungmin's fluffy hair, "seungmin could tutor hyunjin."

hyunjin almost choked on his food, but just continued to eat. on the other hand, seungmin was taken a back.

"right, seungminnie? you're a very bright kid! social studies is even your best subject!" he smiled brightly at the now flustered seungmin.

seungmin glanced at hyunjin, whom was as dead silent as the foot of time. he could tell hyunjin was mad, because of the tense atmosphere. he then looked back at his dad, slowly nodding and fake smiling.

"that's great! i guess you could start tomorrow then, seungmin? if that's okay with you," mr. hwang bubbled.

seungmin fake smiled, "yeah for sure," he said, "i'll try my best."

time passed, and the only sounds in the room were the chatter of seungmin'a dad and mr. hwang, talking about new project ideas and more business topics seungmin and hyunjin weren't interested in. meanwhile, seungmin had a million of thoughts running a marathon in his mind. usually, he would be fine with his dad making decisions for him, but this decision in particular, he was not okay with.

it's okay seungmin, seungmin finished up the last bit of his food, this isn't even a big deal. what's the worst that could happen? you falling for him? haaaaah. wait... what if that actually ha-

"hyunjin, seungmin, me and mr. kim will be now be talking about stuff that nobody else can hear about," mr. hwang articulated, "hyunjin, can you take seungmin to your room and how about you boys talk about how lessons are gonna look like?"

"yeah sure," hyunjin cleaned up his plate before leaving the dining room and going to his room without even waiting for seungmin.

seungmin quickly cleaned up his plate before following hyunjin shortly after.

hyunjin scoffed, "my day couldn't get any worse. my girlfriend dumping me, and now you tutoring me?" he scoffed, "fyi, i don't need you. but because it's mr. kim, i have to act like i'm fine with it."

hearing those words made seungmin's eyes well up with water. he quickly blinked the tears away and continued to follow hyunjin in silence.

"what's so special about you, anyways?" hyunjin said as he opened the door to his room, "anyways, all my stuff is gathered on the desk. just go take a look at it. i don't wanna talk to you right now. can you clean it up too?"

seungmin just nodded and went over to hyunjin's desk, while hyunjin turned on his tv and ps4 before plopping himself on his bed.

wow. seungmin was in distraught as he held up the test papers, i've never seen someone get marks this bad before, seungmin set the test papers to the side, "i- i know you don't wanna associate with me, but do you do online school or does a private teacher come over here or what?"

hyunjin kept his eyes on the screen, "i do online school, but for tests and exams, they get mailed to the people. and when people are done with them, they'd have to mail it back. when i get the tests, appa makes me stay in this room with nothing but a desk and a chair inside. he gets our guards to stand outside just in case i ever leave or something," he deeply sighed, "anyways, that's the only time i'm gonna talk to you. i'm busy."

"o-oh, okay," seungmin then continued to organize hyunjin's desk.

right as seungmin finished cleaning hyunjin's desk, his phone vibrated. it was his dad.

hey my seungminnie! ready to go home? me and mr. hwang just finished.

oh! okay! i'll be right there. just give me a few just cause it's literally a 3 minute walk to the dining room.

seungmin then walked over to the door, "bye hyunjin," he said, getting no response. seungmin just shrugged it off before leaving the room.
