Five || Alluring Hearts

Sarah glared at Mia to which

" You know, I really feel like slapping that pretty face of yours!" Mia snapped at grumpy Sarah as she scowled, the fact that Mia had given her card to the stupid idiot worsen her mood.

" With that face, people would think you are unapproachable!" Mia chidded

" And here you are!"

" It's pointless to talk to you. You are grumpy." A breif silence echoed around them when Sarah asked her.

" Why did you call me to meet you." At this, Mia fiddled with her finger.

Findling fingers.

Nervous enlighten.

Sarah's eyebrow rosed up at her friend demeanour. " Whose innocent life have you taken, Mia?"

" I- what?"

She simple shrugged her shoulder. " Yeah. With the demeanour you are putting forward, I think you had commited a grave sin."

" Yeah, I did." Mia replied nonchalantly. " the grave sin is that I turned twenty five. And trust me, turning twenty five means-"

" The society pointing out why the girl isn't married. Probably pointing all the made up faults."

" Well true. So with an emotional blackmail, I am practically forced into marriage. " she kicked the pebble that came in her way. Sarah felt sorry for her. Although she was in the same state but there was no pressure from her family.

She wondered why.

" But you haven't said yes."

" Yet"

" why is there an emphasis upon yet? Do you want to get married, Mia?" She shrugged her shoulder at her.

" The idea of marriage isn't that bad, Sarah. I mean like I like the concept that you fall in love with the other person and then get married to him. But again if we fall in love before marriage, that relationship of continuing wouldn't be possible. They would find fault. And then they would get you married to a stranger "

" The idea of spending your life with stranger is weird. Like dude I don't even know you and you want me to spend my entire life with you, duh."

" See, that's the point." Mia threw her hand up in air. " But again, my mum doesn't understand that point. So she literally forced me to be ready so that I meet this random dude who happens to be a cardiologist. Like I don't even know you."

" What if." Sarah wiggled her eyebrow. " What if you like him-"

" No chance. I don't believe love at first sight."

" Sure, you told me that during the first day of university and the next moment your jaws was dropped when you accidentally collided with the senior. You literally were gawking at him"

" That's because, it was a mere crush okay. And I have a high chance that it would not be him."

" Who even said it would be him" Sarah laughed at her flabbergasted expression.

" You ain't helping me." Rolling her eyes at her, she bid Sarah bye .

Keeping her hands warm in her pocket  she was tackled by someone.

" Bro, watch where you are going, okay?" She screamed at him, as she dusted off the dust from her jeans.
