Middest of spring

I rushed to get ready after the work as today shiv is getting back from New York. Ravi would be on his way. He travels straight 7 hours as he forgot to book his flight.

It's been long time spending with my childhood besties as shiv got job in New York , while Ravi took real estate after his father and kiran settled in U. A. E and he couldn't make it for today.

I reached our hangout place...... It's a bit special for us. It isn't a usual club or bar but a place on a hill with a spectacular view of the city.

I bought few beers and food. We used to hang out as it's a best place for a teenagers to get drunk as it's illegal to go to bar . But eventually it became a habit.

When I reached, I saw Ravi helping shiv to set fire. They gave a bone cracking hug.

I unloaded the drinks and food. Ravi started talking about his business and  regarding the tour he went with his wife recently.

While shiv told about his new job and his life in New York.

Then kiran video called us, telling he missed us, taking an opportunity Ravi started teasing him for being a clingy women.

Clingy women.....?

I was busy starring at the lights of the city siping my beer.....

" Hey krish.. What abt u man..? " Kiran's voice brought me back from my trance.

" How are u man... Anything new? " He asked.

" Nothing new... Life is as usual for my liking. "I replied.

Everyone stayed silent for a while as they knew, what I went through but still don't know what I'm going through.

They are hoping that I had moved on.

" Come on man... You can't stay like this right, at some point you should allow someone to mend you.. " Krish suggested.

" Oh not now please " I said cheerfully hoping that the topic would change.

Thankfully it does and the remaining night went on by random chatting and they we had dinner.

We headed to my apartment as they we staying till Monday.

I woke up as my phone continuously ringing.

" Hloo " I responded .

"Hey krish... Are are still sleeping..? " I opened my eyes as I heard a girl voice.

Oh it's priya.

" Hm priya... Do you need something? " I asked straightforward. It's not like she calls me frequently .

" What..? Can't I just call my cousin without a reason ..? Why are being so rude to me..? "

Oh god...!

" Priya I'm not being rude. I just thought you had some emergency to call me this early... " I explained.

" Krish it's 10 am.. But I will remember for the next time not to call this EARLY.. "she said laughing while I'm annoyed.

" Ok bye the way are you free? " She asked.
  
" Actually no.... I'm with my friends.. "I said.

" Oh... Then what time would you be free..? "She asked.

" Why ..? Is there anything I could do..? "I asked her.

" Just inform me when ever you're free for few hours.. " She said.

" Ok.. Maybe Monday evening " I said.
