PROLOGUE

yes yes yes I KNOW I have like a million stories I haven't finished but I thought during quarantine, I might as well make a new book I REALLY have motivation on. Anyways, here's the actual prologue of this story;

Felix Huxley is your daily rich boy who goes to a normal school with his brother, Theodore. Both are heirs to their father's company, Applesoft.
Adam (Kid) Duncan is your daily plain and normal boy with obedience and multiple personalities. No, he does not have DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) although he changes like he does. He's quiet and keeps to himself a lot. Apparently he's attracted an heir of said company. Whom, between the twins? Felix.
Although Felix is way out of his league and is usually someone with higher standards, he seemed to have a special connection with Adam. He didn't know why, and he's never told anyone.
Where did it all start? Kindergarten

“YOU ARE SUCH A DISGRACE TO THIS FAMILY AND OUR COMPANY”

Felix could feel the redness and pain around his cheek as his father slapped him. He felt at the verge of crying, but that would make everything worse. He stood as calm as he could, preparing for something worse. What had he done for his father to get so mad at him? He came out. He came out to be gay. God, he wanted to argue with the said adult, but he couldn't. His mouth felt like it was sewed together and he felt like a punching bag, except less tough and could feel pain. Honestly, though, he doesn't regret a thing and if there were to be any other choice he's picked, he'd choose the same one to lead up to the same result. At least after middle school, he knows there's people out there who love him. He stopped manipulating Ted to do everything for him and stopped insulting him, which led to Felix being a favoured and loved brother. Although he bullied his brother, Ted forgave him like it was nothing.

He's a changed man, is what Ted would say if he hadn't been so afraid of their father. Sooner or later, the said father groaned in disappointment and sighed, leaving Felix's bedroom, slamming the door shut. Felix clenched his fists, trying to ignore the pain as Ted came beside him and hugged his side. “It'll be alright, Felix. It's okay. Wanna watch a movie?” the other twin shivered and sniffled, breathing heavily. He wiped his tears and nodded slowly, hugging back.

⊱⋅ ──────The Next Day────── ⋅⊰

Felix stepped out of the limo, his chauffeur closing the door behind him and Ted and driving off back home after dropping them off to school.
Felix stared down to the cement pavement of the school and sighed, still feeling the itching red pain on his cheek from last night.  If he hadn't told his father, though, He was sure to have regretted  missing the chance. “I heard the rich boy got punished for coming out to his terrifying father?” Nugget's voice rang in their ears from the steps of the school. “Yeah, it was pretty bad....” Ted explained, putting his arm around the his brother. “The slap was so hard, He had to hide it from the shower water this morning” Nugget winced and frowned in sympathy. “Well, it'll all be better soon! It'll be so much better so fast, you won't even remember what happened!” Nugget reassured Felix, as an attempt to raise morale. Felix nodded and thought he might be right, besides, Adam goes to school here and looking at him always made Felix smile. He smiled just thinking of him. “Hey!” was when Adam came up with a bag of apples. “Sorry about last night. I heard it'd been rough” he huffed out. Felix blushes and nods a little, still looking down. “That's a lot of apples. How about an apple for Applesoft heirs?” Ted smiled, making the terrible joke, which made Adam laugh. He gave two for the twins and one for Nugget. He took one out an placed it in the left pocket of his bag. “So... Shall we head in?” Felix lifted up his head a bit and muttered it out.

They headed into the doors of the building, Felix immediately being pulled into a crowd by Cindy. They were the popular kids's clique. Everyone in school has or had been in one. Adam wasn't at all interested in any of the said groups though. He was fine with his way with his friends. Although the others are in different cliques, they hang out daily and sometimes more than often and more than they should be. They sometimes hang out in Jerome's place cause he's got good consoles and games to play on. Nugget's because McDonalds is expansive as heck, and his nuggets are just as good. Billy and Lily's because they make good slumber parties and board games. Buggs' because he collects cool weapons and you can use it in his basement- The sorts.

Everything changed after Kindergarten. Buggs wasn't as psychotic as he was, and the weapons in his basement are just for show and are now being sold online. Nugget stopped killing everyone when Adam collects all the talismans. They all put the past behind them and kept it to themselves, because the future awaits of great things for them, and I know sure as hell it's gonna go good for Felix and Adam. After all, this is a story of how they met, fell in love, and dated.

How will it end? That's on you to theorise

But what really awaits are the chapters in between start and finish, that is what you shall see for your own.

But this story doesn't start in highschool, oh no, no, no. It starts all the way back from when they were just psychopathich toddlers in kindergarten

From the start...

Well, that was good for a prologue, I hope. It's not that bad, I guess. I haven't written in a while and I was bored so,, here we are. Hope y'all are enjoying this right now and I'll see y'all in the next one!
