I'm Jennie. I met this one girl in highschool and her name is Emma. She became my girlfriend and she still is. Emma is overprotective, I guess everyones got their flaws. I live with her and yet I almost never see her. She comes home at around 2 am drunk, and then starts yelling at me because I didn't do shit. I still love her but it's really hard to believe she loves me."I'm home babe"! Emma shouts
"Where have you been"! Jennie shouts
"I was working" Emma said as she hung her head down
"You're never home anymore and you expect me to think that you were working! You come home DRUNK. You were at the bar weren't you! Jennie shouted
"Hey you shut your mouth right now Jennie"!
"I'm really surprised you didn't deny going to the bar" Jennie said, fuming
"I-
"Zip it" Jennie said
I slammed my bedroom door. My throat was burning, my head hurt. What am I doing with my life? Tears streamed down my face. What am I supposed to do!? Should I break up with Emma? I thought we had a special connection. Thoughts filled my head as I drifted away.

It was finally morning. I woke up feeling happy until all the memories from last night came flooding in. I shook my head in dispair
No! I said to myself. Today I am going to go out and have fun. That will show Emma how it feels to be alone all the time at home when your girlfriend's at the bar drunk!

I stepped out of my bedroom to see Emma at the table."Let me guess, your mad at me" Emma said
I didn't even have the nerve to even look at her.
"Ok I get it, were not on speaking terms" Emma said
Then she suddenly slammed her hands on the table and said...
"You have no right to be mad at me! I'm just trying to have fun and you have to ruin it! You don't even clean this filthy place and you don't even make me dinner"!
Well why the fuck am I supposed to make her dinner when she's not even home! The fact that she demands me to clean this place is outrageous! She owns this apartment not me. So we should be cleaning it together because I'm not her fucking maid.

I made myself some waffles and peacefully ate them in the sun room. It was so nice outside yet so bad inside.
I checked my watch.
It was 11:00!

7 hours later
I check my watch again
It's 6:00
Time to get ready
I ran into my bedroom and rummaged through my closet."Where is it"? Jennie said to herself impatiently
"Ah yes, I found it"
I pulled out the beautiful black dress and went into the bathroom to slip it on.
I don't look that bad.
Then I did my makeup and hair
Wow, I didn't know my hair turned out so great!
I slipped on my heals and grabbed my purse, hoping Emma wouldn't see me leave
I began to creep out my room and to the entrance of the house."And where do you think your going"?
Her cold voice immediately froze me as I stood there thinking of what to say.
"I'm going out" Jennie said, quietly
"Ok, have fun"! Emma said, quite cheerfully
Did Emma just say that?
I never thought she was going to let me go. I looked behind me to see Emma smiling. I thought she was mad? Oh and I'm still mad at her too.
I didn't say another word to her as I walked out of the house.
I was quite bewildered by what just happened.

I got into the car and drove to the bar. I was really excited to go!
I stepped out of the car and walked over to the building. I showed my ID to the guard and walked inside.
Gosh
There was music, everybody seemed happy and people were dancing!
.

Should I go get a drink?
I don't want to get drunk
Eh who cares
I walked over to the bartender"Can I have some Vodka please"? Jennie asked
"Alright" the bartender said
As I reached for my wallet someone said.....
"I can pay that for you"
