The fist day of school was here. You were very nervous but also very excited to have your own class.
You had checked tinder this morning while brushing your teeth, there were some new matches, but no reply from Charlie. Maybe he just swiped right on accident? Maybe he thought your gif was lame? Or he hadn't checked the app yet. You hoped it was the last one. Otherwise you ... you would just be very down.
But hey, let's concentrate on your first day of teaching. As your friend had warned you yesterday: it was indeed raining. But a few drops of water couldn't take the excitement away. Not when you didn't have to go by bike, that is.
Your phone binged:
I'm outside. Please check your phone for once so I don't have to run through the rain.Oke, to defend yourself. Checking your phone al the time is asocial. So, it wasn't that bad that you took your time to answer, was it? Well for everything is a first time. So you answerd right away:
Give me a sec. Need to find my umbrella first.
She replied imidiatly:
Find? Typical 🙄
You had finally found your umbrella and ran outside. Shit, maybe it would be wise if you also took your other stuff with you.
'Finally', your friend said when you stepped into her car. You rolled your eyes but smiled at her. 'Good morning to you too!' She laughed and said: 'Good morning! Ready for your first day?' 'Yes!'
'Well', said your friend, 'You seem more stressed than excited. 'yeah, well I am okay.' 'It's gonna be okay', she said. 'You can do this!' 'Let's go! So we arrive on time. It's all about fist impressions right!'
