Y/N's pov.
I was at home, cleaning up my room and my house since Mark had a few friends over. My parents work most of the time so I don't exactly see them very often, they have quite long work hours. My brother, Mark Lee is the biggest goofball. He always makes a mess out of the littlest things like chips, drinks, or something weird he's found. It's like he's the God of Chaos. Seriously.

But he has this one amazing friend that we both grew up with. He was always so sweet and caring, he was so gentle with me. His name is Na Jaemin. And Mark? Mark would always push me and be so aggressive with me, I disliked it so much but he is my older brother so I played along with him, and sometimes it was quite fun. Jaemin and Mark always bought ice cream from a nice man in an ice cream truck that came around the park near our home every Saturday.

Although now that we're all in high school, everything was still as it was when we were younger. Mark, Jaemin, and I still had an ice cream addiction. We grew a connection with that ice cream man. We even called him Uncle Jin. My feelings for Jaemin never changed either, I still loved him the way I did even when we were younger. It's crazy, isn't it? How could someone be in love with another person for such a long time?

There was this one day where I was outside waiting for Jaemin to come back with ice cream since Mark said that he needed to go meet up with a few friends so that just left me and Jaemin. My parents always teased me about Jaemin, or more like my dad teased me while my mom gave me a lecture about life, marriage, pregnancy and you know . . . cough . . . sex. They made it seem like it was such a horrible thing. They exaggerated so harshly about it that it did scare me a bit when I was thinking about it.

But when I started dating Jaemin, everything went smoothly. It was a nice ride for the both of us since we took things slow. Jaemin didn't rush into anything and I didn't either. Mark was a little more protective/cautious around us but we were all still pretty cool together. My parents loved and adored Jaemin as if he were their own son, it made me extremely happy that they accepted our relationship.

Jaemin asked me out in the most funny way possible too. That scene still replays in my mind to this day and I still tease him about it from time to time. How he asked me out went like this; That day, I was sitting on my front porch, waiting for him since he said he was going to come over and take me and Mark to this newly open ice cream shop. I sat on the stairs and he tripped in front of me. Of course, I was immediately worried. "Oh my gosh, Jaemin! Are you okay??" I asked as I got down beside him. He looked up at me with a hurt expression.

"I . . . I think I fell for you" he said and grinned in a dorky way, we stared at each other for a while before I busted into a pit of laughter. "Well you better get back up~" I sang as I stood up to walk away from him but he grabbed a hold of my wrist. "I'm not joking about it though?" he laughed nervously as he stood up, towering over me and causing a soft pink to spread across my cheeks.

"O-Oh . ." I didn't know how to exactly answer him. My eyes darted around nervously, trying to look around for an answer as a voice screamed at the back of my head, telling me to stop being such an idiot. "W-Will you . . . be my girlfriend??" he asked as he held my hands in his, staring at me so sweetly yet nervously. I smiled widely and jumped onto him, giving him the tightest hug ever. "I'll take that as a yes" he chuckled softly as he hugged me back, gently spinning me around in his arms.

But now, today marks our two year anniversary since the day he asked me out. I couldn't love him any more than I do now. "I'm baaaacckk~" he sang as he ran up to me and handed me my cup of ice cream. "Hi sweetheart" I smiled at him as he also returned a warm and sweet smile before sitting beside me. "You should tie my shoelaces so I don't fall for you again," he said as he looked at me with that adorable dorky grin once again. "And why is that?" I lifted a brow as I asked, staring at him with a confused look.

"Because I'm already so in love with you, my darling. I wouldn't want to start all over again" he stared at me so lovingly. I swear, I almost melted right there. "Come here, you big baby" I giggled and set my ice cream down before opening my arms for him. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he had an arm around my torso. He then pulled me into a sweet yet tender kiss.

"Watch the hands, Buddy" a voice came out of nowhere. We pulled away and looked around for a while, still confused about where it came from. I knew whose voice it was, I knew it was my Dad's. I just didn't know where it was coming from. "Look up by the right-hand corner of the front door," my Dad said once more. And guess what? It was a damn camera.

I groaned and slumped back a bit as I stared at the small camera attached to the wall, "Seriously, Dad??" I asked as Jaemin watched silently, giggling to himself. "We installed a bunch around the house so you better be careful what you say or do, my sweet, lovely, and innocent daughter~". I couldn't see his face right now but I could tell that he was grinning like an idiot and giggling like a little girl. He and Mark do the same thing all the time.

I sigh before standing up with my cup of ice cream in my hand then holding my hand out to Jaemin. He gently gripped it and I helped him up before we smiled at the camera, "Bye Dad!" I said and Jaemin said the same, causing me to giggle before we both walked off to go on our date, "Be home by 9 sharp!!" Dad said through the camera. We chuckled softly before I got into Jaemin's car with him and drove off.
