Stefan's POV

Damon & I have been driving for about an hour in what seems to be a giant circle. "Um .. Stefan were lost & there's no sight of Elena !" Damon looked pretty frustrated. I was so annoyed ! Where is this ditch ?! "Damon , we'll find her ca-- " I was cut off by the sound of my cell phone. I reached in my pocket & took the phone out. The name read "Elena".

My eyes popped out of my sockets as I answered the phone. "Hello Elena ?! Where Are You ?" I heard nothing just her breathing heavily. She finally answered "Stefan ? I'm scared ! Hurry !! "

It sounded like someone knocked the phone out of her hand and pushed her down. Elena screamed as if she was in pain. She hung up.

Elena's POV

"What do you want ? Why did you push me ?" I said getting up from the floor.

She turned around and smiled. "I just did that to make them hurry up" she cleared her throat & sat down. "Listen , you don't know the half of what's going on ! I might seem crazy & evil but I'm just a girl who m-" she cut herself off , her voice was shaking as if she was about to cry. She silently got up and walked away.

She reached into the fridge & pulled out a blood bag. I watched as she tore it open and let the blood flow slowly into her mouth. "What's your name ?! " I asked her once again. " I don't want for you to fear me , I just need something." She sounded desperate. This was my chance. "I will do anything ! " while her back was turned I slowly approached her , making no noise.

Once close enough I grabbed hold of the knife on the table & lunged at her. She quickly turned around. She looked so angry ! Her face began to turn red. " really ?" She smacked the knife out of my hand. "I have no intension on hurting you Elena, why can't you understand that ? "

I felt kind of bad because she genuinely sounded like she was being honest. " I'm So-" I was interrupted by the sound of the door being kicked in.

"Stefan ?" I screamed "Elena ?! " he screamed back. I turned to look at the mystery girl but she was gone.

As I was getting ready to go to the door , the girl jumped out from a ditch in the wall, she looked deep in my eyes "you will not remember who I am or what I look like only that got you into an accident". She sounded so convincing. "I will not remember who you are or what you look like only that I got into an accident. " why did I say that ? it was like my mind was trapped and someone was taking over my body.

I closed my eyes & reopened them to see Stefan running towards me. I ran to him and hugged him with everything in me. His hugs were amazing, I felt his muscles tightening around my body. It felt perfect.

"What happened ?" He said staring me in the eyes. I was so confused but I let out the words "I got in an accident" why'd I say that ? Stefan's eyebrows crinkled in together as he came in closer to me. "After that ? " he was still staring me in the eyes. " I'm not sure. how did I get here ?" I was confused as hell !

He let out a big sigh.

" someone compelled you !" he put his hands over his face and sat on a log.

Who compelled me ? I went and sat next to him. " Stefan , I'm okay ! You don't have to worry" I kissed his cheek.

Suddenly, a black shadow zoomed past. Stefan quickly stood up " Elena go in the car !" he pushed me towards the car. "I'll be okay --" he cut me off with the look of anger. " GO IN THE CAR ELENA !"

He never yelled at me before. I ran in the car with Damon and locked the door.

Stefan's POV

The shadow continued running past me. It was causing a breeze.

" who are you ?!" I screamed into thin air .

A girl laughed and ran into the woods , I followed her. When she stopped it was at the Denalis river. Is this person playing games with me ?! It was a female figure , she was dressed in a black hoodie , black jeans and black combat boots.

She stood there looking at this specific spot. I didn't move or speak , I just looked at what she was looking at. I gasped.
