(Keneki ^ I'll add him with his dark hair🥺)

Y/n

The mess hall was much bigger than the trainees' it was filled with noise. Something was always happening and to my surprise I liked it.

The superiors had sat in a different table from the rest of the cadets. Actually, it was two tables filled with them. And who I guessed their squad was, seated in the few tables behind them.

I couldn't help but train my eyes on a certain short man. He caught my attention even more. Although I've heard the many stories of him.
He sounded strong n brave.

But as I daydream it was interrupted when Erwin took a seat just in front of him. Blocking my view of his hand-

"Y/n?" A hand appeared in front of my face.

"She's spacing out again.." Keneki sighed.

"Hey! Listen up Y/n we're in the scouts now you can't be spacing out like this." Shoto scolded me.

My face darken as I too realize I was spaced out and it was because of my new corporal. Oh how could I be so stupid-

I tuck a strand of my h/c behind my ear. Shoto is right. I've worked so hard to get here.. just to see my father.

No funny monkey business.

The rest of the day was pretty much cut off for us. Probably because us new cadets needed to settle in, how nice.
I found I shared a room with three other girls. Yuno being one of them. Kim and Petra were the unknown girls.

They were fairly nice, as Kim just gave me a look. And the other girl helped Yuno n me settle in. They were nice.
I think the boys were lucky enough to get a room together. Thought like it's much different for them, Yuno and me had kinda made two friends in the trainees but they went off to garrison.

We would never see them again I'm sure. I hope things go all well for them.

Yuno tapped my shoulder as I finished making my bed. Seeing as I took a short nap.

"Mm.. Y/n Section Commander Hanji just dropped by and asked if you could meet in the mess hall in 5mins. She said it was important." Yuno had an unsure look.

"I wonder what's that about. How does she even know who I am yet!?" I stopped in front of the door.

Turing around to face Yuno with a weird expression. She only shrugged.
"No idea, that Hanji person is so.. strange." Yuno giggled.

I smiled and threw the thought from my head and as I was requested to meet Hanji in the mess hall.

Though I couldn't help but feel nervous and the sweat on my palm grew the closer my feet got to the mess hall doors.

What if I was in trouble?!

Or maybe dad.. knows.

Oh I wasn't ready to confront him just yet. I thought I'd sleep on it. A sheepish smile made its way on my face. Yea.. maybe she just took interest into my fighting skills.

But I was surely wrong as there sat Hanji, Erwin and Levi.

Seeing Levi made my face turn red as I could feel the heat begin to rise. I stood still by the doors, ready to fall to my knees.

Because Erwin held a sweet smile on his face and it looked to be as though he was crying. What?

"Y/n come take a seat with us." Hanji spoke.

I clumsy sat down next to Hanji in front of Erwin. Levi held much distance between us three and sipped on something in his cup. It smelled like tea, making my mouth water.

"Wh-what is this all ab..about." I cured myself for stuttering.

"I'm sorry if this takes you off guard Y/n. But I.." Erwin gulped. My eyes trained on my nervous hands, my forehead gathered sweat buddies.
"I looked into you. And really it could be coincidence that we have the same last name.. and you have the name of my daughter. And so I had some friends of mine look into this a bit farther. Your mother.. M/n Smith. She is dead and your grandmother told me my daughter went off to join the trainees. And here you are."

A tear slipped from my eyes, I hadn't heard moms name in so long. It hurt more than a thousand swords.
"Y-yes."

My eyes meet Erwin's which looked just as watery as mine. But he smiled nonetheless.

"I'm.. your daughter." I whispered.

He knew. He remembered me!?
It was enough to warm my heart as I thought dad had turned into a cold man years ago. I thought I would be disappointed coming into the scouts.

But I was far from it.

"I know. One look at you and I know." He reached for my fidgety hands.
"These two are my closest friends here, Section Commander Hanji and your captain Levi." He motioned to the two.

Though I already knew who they were I still smiled and nodded.

"It's nice to meet both of you." I smile at Hanji who's face lit up so much. And I even turned to give Levi a small smile.

But he didn't react in anyway. He just narrowed his eyes at me which made me squirm in my seat.

Why was he so scary.. and dominant..

Ahhh shut up brain!

"I know this must be a lot for you and we have training tomorrow so I'll let you rest now." We all stood up well not Levi.

"She's not getting out of training or anything." Levi looked up at us with a cold look in his eyes.

"Well of course I wouldn't! I came here not only to l-look for my father but to be a soldier too!" I pouted feeling flustered.

His eyes lingered on me for a moment before he made a 'tch' sound and looked away.

Oh man wasn't that nerve racking.

"Have a good night Y/n." Erwin and Hanji both laughed to themselves as they waved me off.

And suddenly I felt much much more tired. All I wanted was to crawl in my bed and die.

Did I really yell at Levi and he didn't do anything!? Ehh- could just because he found out that my father is none other than Erwin Smith the Commander.

Oh what a day tomorrow's gonna be.
