(Y/N) POV

Today is my first day in the hidden sand village and i cant wait to make friends.

Im sure your probably wondering whats going on well my name is (y/n) (l/n) im 5 years of age and i have (h/l) (h/c) and (s/c), I am also a neko but i can hide my cat ears and tail whenever i want, besides that im basically average and my family just moved to the hidden sand village since we finally decided to settle down somewhere because we travel alot and the closest village was here.Anyway back to the story.

I was walking around the village with my parents when i spotted a little boy with red hair and what looked like thick eyeliner and a brown teddy bear in his arms all by himself looking sad and hurt so being the good person i was raised to be i went up to him.

" Are you okay" i asked him. He turned around and looked at me with a bored face which soon turned to one of annoyance," if your here to make fun of me make it quick" he said. I looked at him and smiled " and why would i do that ?" I asked then he looked at me with a duh face " because everyone hates me and avoids me and even if they do come to talk to me they tell me to die or go kill myself " he said. I looked at him and stretched my hand forva handshake
" lets start over then, hi i'm (y/n) and im new here would you like to be my friend " i said excitedly.

Gaara POV

I couldn't believe what i was hearing and it took a while for me to process that line ' would you like to be my friend' it repeated over and over in my head and i looked at her to see if i saw any sign of a joke, taunt or tease but there was none." You sure you want me to be your friend" i asked her still a bit hesitant to accept, " yep, im pretty sure,plus you look like a nice person so why not" she asked happily. At that very moment something in me just flipped, " yes i would like to be ur friend and my name is gaara by the way" i said excitedly.

We both played and played till she had to go home and we said our goodbyes and see you laters.

That day i went home with a smile on my face for the first time.
