Chapter 9

Y/N POV

"I wonder what's causing people to scream so much, the exam just started to" i said as we made our way through the forest.

"That would make the 10th one and its only been about five minutes" temari said which is true.

"I bet we could do much better than whatever is in this forest" kunkaro stated pridefully.

"And see some blood rain while we're at it" gaara stated finally joining the conversation.

As we continued straight towards the center we ran into a team that was to high up on their horse and decided they were going to challenge us. We all know what happened. (A/N- if you dont then lets just say they were deprived of oxygen thanks to our beloved gaara and he dealt with them like a python strangles its pray minus the eating them part. Anyway back to the story)

What a mistake that was.

"Next time try to hold back a bit more" i said to gaara.

"No promises" he replied. I sighed as we continued on our path to the center.

Oh did i forget to mention we got the scroll we were after and still managed to fit killing into that tiny bit of free time in between.

It took us about an hour and a half to two hours to reach the tower since we were walking.

And surprise, surprise we wre the first ones to reach.

We unlocked the door using the scrolls and went in a few hours later another team came in and on closer inspection they were the dog boy's team.

As they past us they looked a bit stiff. I wonder why.

Who knows but right now we have to focus on getting some food and find some entertainment.

Speaking of which i wonder what would make a good target for target practice.

After target practice with a leaf as a target and gaara's sand beind the obstacle, i decided that i should get to know our competition to pass the time.

I made us something simple to eat with the things i found in the forest that were harmless.

It was mostly boring.

(A/N- sorry for the short chapter but i had a bit of writers block trying to figure out wat else i could add to the chapter without it getting boring but its not easy.
