Daryls POV

I walk close to Isabelle. She's grown up, sorta.

"Hey, I forgot to tell you, that's Rick and Michonne."

I feel like a terrible father, letting Merle kick her out like that. Then again I was a terrible father since day one.

I see Isabelle looking at me in the corner of my eye.

"Who's the kid?" I ask.

"This is Mason. He's been with me since the beginning." She says.

"Oh, he's too young for you right" I ask

"Oh. My. God. Don't be that dad" she says and makes me laugh. Michonne looks back at me then whispers something to Rick.

We finally arrive at the prison. We open the gates and walk in. Isabelle's eyes light up.

"Woah" she mumbles

Isabelle's POV

This place is huge. I enter through the front. I am welcomed by a blonde girl holding a baby.

"Who are they?" She asks

"This is Daryls daughter, Isabelle, and her friend Mason" Rick says

"Hi, I'm Beth and this is Judith." She says and shakes my hand.

"Beth could you bring these kids to an open cell close to Daryls" Rick says and I follow Beth, the others head in the other direction.

Mason follows behind us.

"I never knew Daryl had a daughter" Beth says.

"Yea, it's kind of unexpected from a guy like him" I say.

"Is he nice to you?" Beth asks.

"Surprisingly, yes" I reply with a smile.

"So who's the mom" Beth asks.

"I never got to meet her, she died when I was a baby" I say

"Oh, I only have a dad too, and a sister"

"Is Judith your sister?"

"No, she's Ricks, not mine" she says.

"Oh, your good with her" I say.

"I think we're gonna make good friends"  she says and shows me my cell.

"Mason do you want your own or do you want to share" I ask him

"I wanna sleep by myself" he says. I nod and hand him his back pack.

"Goodnight" I say and hug him. He walks into the cell next to mine.

"Hey Isabelle" Beth says.

"Yea"

"My cell is right down here if you need anything" she says and I wave goodbye.
I throw my back pack down and grab another pair of clothes and I throw it on the ground for tomorrow.

I hop on the uncomfortable bed. I lay down, thinking about dad, and Beth. Mostly dad.

I'm just so happy that he found me. With that I fall asleep.
