BRINNNNNG. The alarm clock sounded. Annabeth groaned and slammed her hand down on it to shit it up. Getting out of bed, she stretched and walked to her closet. She looked through her clothes and decided on wearing a pair of jean shorts and a long-sleeved shirt with black flats. She ran downstairs and ate a quick breakfast, saying goodbye to her dad and stepbrothers, completely ignoring her horrid stepmom. She sauntered out the door and started walking to her school.
At the door, she met up with her best friends, Piper and Thalia. They grabbed their schedules and immediately started comparing them. Annabeth only had one class with Thalia besides lunch and the same schedule as Piper, except she had architecture while Piper had choir.
As she and Piper headed to their first class, Annabeth bumped into a handsome boy with sea-green eyes and dark hair that was windswept.
"Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going, " said the boy.
"It's ok. To be honest, I wasn't either, " Annabeth answered. Piper and Annabeth then walked off, towards their class. They got to their seats right before the bell rang. The class, science, was super boring. The only exciting thing that happened was when Piper fell out of her chair after Annabeth dropped her book next to Piper's sleeping figure.
Soon enough, they were done with classes before lunch, where they met up with the rest of their colleagues.
