BENEDICT EMBERHOOD

Lord Adara sat with Lady Regina Voda in her garden. After a servant served him tea, Raul got straight to the point.

"I think My Lady must have already got an idea as to why I am here."

Lady Regina was nervous but kept her composure.

"I am afraid my son and his cousin have been causing you trouble Lord Adara."

"Precisely. But the  question is regarding his motive. I hope my Lady can make it clear to me, why exactly the Voda family head sees us as his enemy."

Lady Regina began to panic but still managed to say a few words,

"What is past is past my Lord. And what has ended with the older generation, should not be continued on my the newer ones. Even though my son is not much younger than you,he does not have half your wisdom. It is my fault for failing to discipline him.As for his cousin, she is a but a poor orphan. Her intention is only to help the family head.

I hope Lord Adara would consider their inexperience and youth and spare them. "

Raul understood her stand.She only wanted to keep the Voda kids alive. But he wondered why she wouldn't make clear to him as to what exactly happened in the past. His father had warned him not to interfere.

They were interrupted by the arrival of Ares. When he saw who the guest was, he glared at him.

"What brings you here Lord Adara?" he asked gritting his teeth.

"I was paying a visit to the Lady in order to propose a plan." said Raul

"How dare you show up in front of my mother after all that has happened?" Ares asked still glaring at Raul.

"Is that how you greet our guest, Ares?" Lady Regina asked him, begging with her eyes to not to make trouble.

"What exactly is your proposed plan?" asked Ares sitting down in the chair the servants brought for him.

"You have already come under the radar of Helios for transporting those drugs." said Raul

Lady Regina gasped.

"But we have a feeling that you are innocent.Inorder to confirm our feeling, you should work with us and expose the drug dealings of the Demeteros."

Ares stared at him.

"If you do not prove to us that they are guilty, backed  with evidence, then we shall be forced to mark the Voda family head as the guilty one."

Ares kept quiet. It was Lady Regina who spoke.
"My son shall cooperate with you my Lord. Please do not accuse him of a crime he has not committed."

"Mother, why are you doing this? "asked Ares

Lady Regina stood up and leaned closer to her son,

"Do you think we have a choice right now? The Demeteros are not good company Ares. I heard they have bad money. And now they have even made you a suspect. This is your one way out. I feel that Lord Adara can be trusted.He works for Helios"

Ares shook with anger. His pride was deeply hurt. He could not bear to see his mother begging his enemy.

"I do not need anybody's protection. I can set things right on my own." shouted Ares.

"Says the one who always gets saved by their younger cousin. Where is she now anyway? I bet she is somewhere trying to clean up after your mess."  said Raul

Just then Gaga came up to Raul and whispered something in his ear.
"Looks like I am right." said Raul sighing and getting up.

"Then I shall consider it settled and take my leave my Lady." Raul bowed to lady Regina, who bowed back.

"You better do as I say Ares.You almost ruined our family name this time"
Lady Regina gave her son a talking.

"A lady can't catch a break." Tyde sighed as she looked at her new opponent.

They were standing on the bridge over the Java river.Not one day had passed after   she had reached back when her car was suddenly stopped by a party looking for a fight.

Tyde knew that she had to stay on the Yona hills to avoid trouble. But if she attracted attention towards the Logams, (she was afraid she had already done it) , it would bring about more trouble.

"Who are you?" she asked the man standing opposite her. This man looked young, about the same age as her and he was powering up. Tyde could say that he was as powerful as her.

"Remember my name well, it is Benedict Emberhood, the man who brought your end."

"And what is your reason to kill me?"

"You! How dare you touch Lady Katherine? I am fulfilling your death wish."

Tyde sighed. Maybe she was born under an unlucky star. Though he seemed childish, he  too was a powerful fire clan member, a very bad combination,thought Tyde.

"Who are you to her? Her lover?" asked Tyde and Benedict turned red.

"What! No way.. How can I be her.. Forget it, draw your sword right now!" said he, powering up further.

Their swords clashed. They fought each other for some time. Both of them seemed to be evenly matched. It was her first time fighting someone on the same level. She thought it was quite enjoyable, although she was getting many injuries. This was not like fighting those weak sidekicks. Nor was it like fighting Raul Adara with whom she had no chance.

They fought on till both ran out of breath and energy.

"You are better than I thought.." said Benedict in between pants.

"You too.Why don't we take a break and start over ." suggested Tyde.

"Yeah, like in your dreams." said Benedict  running up to her with his fire sword at full speed. But just then something hit him  and he fell backwards. It was somebody's fire energy.

"That's enough." said someone and hearing that Benedict slowly got back up and bowed.

Tyde turned back to see who it was. It was Raul Adara.
