"Wake up, Wake up, Wake up" I repeated as the phone rang in my ear. "unghh, he..hello?", "Andrew! wake up dude i'm already on the way too your house so get dressed we're gonna

go to Mcdonalds!" Driving towards Andrews house seemed different the roads were empty and even the air itself seemed quite. I stopped too fill up on gas, pulling in the parking lot seemed like it was trashed, being the day after black friday i figured it was because the hecktect day before. Pulling next to the gas tank i got out of my truck too feel the cold breeze of the November air, I started filling up my tank but the pump wouldnt switch on, figuring that the clerk didnt see me so i walked up to the door which was propped open. "Hey, I need thirty on pump fou..." stopped dead in my tracks, the store clerk must have left the door open when she went too lunch and a racoon had raided the small gas stations shelfs, picking some of the trash off the ground i looked at my phone, 12:45. I wrote a note with my cell number and put it on the register, turned around and closed the door behind me, looks like im getting gas from Andrews Shed.

Pulling up to Andrews house I noticed his parents truck was gone so I took up the empty space. A head popped out the door, "Get back boy, sit down.. Hey Tate! Mind helping me here?" Shaking my head I laughed a little at his struggle with his moms dog, picked her up and chained her to the  tree next to the porch. "Hows it been man? Wheres your parents?" "Its been good bro, and im not sure probably at Aunt Karens they were up all night christmas shopping on black friday" "I've never enjoyed that, hordes of people, it's just silly for some cut prices. speaking of which can i get some gas from you? The carziest thing happened, the gas station door was wide open and looks like a racoon got inside, so I wasnt able to get any gas." "Yea man of course we just refilled out canisters come out to the shed lets get some."

I was petting the dog while Andrew was opening up the shed, he finally got the lock undone and the door seemed like it was stuck on some stuff pushed up against the door. "Thats odd, hey Tate, give me a hand would ya?" I threw a stick a few feet away for the dog too get then approched the door where andrew was shoving and pushing on. "One, Two, Three! Ughn!" The door busted open and the fallen over dresser toppled over the opposite way. "The gas is over here, lets grab it and fill up your truck." Pulling out two large canisters of gas we were clearing up the debree from blocking the door again. Then we heard a blood currdling yelp from his mothers dog. "Angel!?" We ran outside throwing the gas in the back of my truck. The collar was bloody and broken and the chain led out to the edge of the woods. "Grab my gun out of the truck Andrew it could be a cyottee." Andrew handing me my loaded .22 off the gun rack in my truck i walked towards the edge of the woods while Andrew stayed in shock of the bloody collar in his hands. Deep in the woods i heard rustling. Looking closer I saw the figure of a man chewing on the severed leg of an animal. "Dude! what the hell?! come out here!" The man slowly turned to face me, dropping his meal next too a bloody pile of dog bones. "What the.." Andrew gasped. The man started slowly shuffling towards me. Freaked out i fired a warning shot in the air. This seemed to make him madder.. he looked homeless, but disfigured, shocked i realized he had a gash in his stomach and his guts were all over the ground next to the dogs. "Did i hit him?!" I gasped nearly dropping my rifle.. "No I don't think so.. what is he?"  "I'm not sure.. run lets just get inside!" Running from the.. thing we scurried inside.

"What am I going to tell my mom?!" Amdrew was near tears. "I think thats the least of our worries right now.. whatever that thing is it's trying to get inside" I said checking the rounds left in my rifle. "Tate, look at this.. More are coming down the drive!" Thinking Fast i yelled, "FOLLOW ME!" I busted open the door pushing the thing that ate Andrews dog on the wet ground, his head was cracked open on a rock. "Oh my god! Fill up my tank Andrew we're leaving!" Andrew was two steps ahead of me he already was finishing it up and loading it into the truck again. Getting in we sped down the drive. The road ahead was clear hitting the gas to flee the scene we had just witnessed  Andrews neighbor stumbled onto the drive.her arm completely gone.. I noticed her too late and hit her head on. The things chasing my truck soon were on top of her, no turning back to try and help, not with those things crawling on top of her.. chewing on her neck.. Looking at Andrew, We both had a look of fear.  Those things.. What just happened changed our lifes. Of course, that was five months ago.
