I'm so close to the city, I can practically smell the smoke. That may or may not be a bad thing. My food is becoming harder to get, the creatures started wearing armor. The fact they have a brain thats advanced this far, leads me to beleive that no human besides me is alive. That's fucking bullshit, I hope i'm not the last god damn human alive. I don't want to be the last human alive.
Fred has learned to be silent while killing the creatures. This is probably genesis in their eyes but in mine it's trying to stay alive in a broken world. I can get food easier and faster now, but, Fred is gone now. He left a week ago. I've been able to kill these creatures easier. It feels almost...natural.
It's weird the way it feels so natural to take a creatures life. But i guess these things were born from death, so does that mean they're alive? yes? no? maybe? They're just fucking food to me. Maybe the city will be serving these as food. That'd be good.
The city is about 100 miles away from my location right now. The last human city to stand. My look at this has changed since i began writing this entry. First i thought no one survived, now I'm certain that humans are alive. The smoke smells man made.
It could be the creatures though, I've killed some of them while they were, i don't know, it looked like they were having a BBQ. It's strange, they were cooking beef, somethingI haven't had in a long time.
