Happier

I remember hearing your voice
everyday in the hospital.
I couldn't see you, just
hear you.

I wanted so badly to wake up from the coma
I was in and hug you...
But the world wouldn't let me.
My body wouldn't let me.

Instead, my body allowed me to
get weaker over the year I was
in that coma.

One day I was expecting to hear you, but
I didn't. I heard everyone visit, but you.
I wondered if you'd forgotten about me.

I heard you that unfortunate day,
at my side crying at the doctors
news.

"No...please Doc...."
I heard you sob.
"I'm so very sorry sir but...We can't help the
fact that Mr. Min doesn't have long
left"

Taehyung. I hope you still
remember me...I hope your happier...
I hope your life is better. I feel like
it was my job to be your Guardian.
