No one POV- 1 month ago- 6 pm

Screams filled the air as six hunters entered the office building of the fashion company, the employees were just about to leave work when death arrived at the front door. The hunters' smirk as they step forward to face the employees. "You have all been chosen to be killed today," says the one in the middle with curly hair with the name CHAN stitched onto his hunter uniform.

Immediately panic rushes through the air "NO!!" screams the workers.

"My daughter!" cries a middle-aged man.

"I'm only 22!" another young woman complains

"Ugh, why can't they just shut up" Chan growls. "Exactly" the other hunters agree. Stray Kids ignore all the cries for mercy, hunters don't know what mercy or empathy is. Instead, they say something that surprises the employees.

"Run"

"What?" a man with a huge goatee asks very loudly.

"I said run." the shortest hunter says, clearly annoyed by the questions.

Of course, the poor employees think that they have a chance to escape, but in reality, they can't outrun hunters and most importantly the exit doors are locked. So as they run like frantic ants the hunters, amused that the employees try so hard, start chasing. And when caught you die. Soon the screams for mercy turn into screams of pain and then they're silenced by death. Stray Kids, now all covered in blood, leave the building with faces of people who just got a fresh kill but are completely oblivious to the shadow lurking outside.

"Report to base"

"Base is listening"

"1660 ParkLine St"

"Sending body pickup now, great job once again Stray Kids"

"Thank you ma' am"

Rebellion pov - 1 month ago

"I'm telling you! they're the most bloodthirsty and skilled hunters I've ever seen!" cries the man.

"Ok ok, calm down Jacob" the older woman sighs and looks up. "The government has gotten more deadly in the last few years, with even more skilled hunters and people being killed in more inhumane ways, this is to be expected, unfortunately. "We will have to fight even harder now that the government isn't loosening up." explains the woman sadly.

Jacob nods, "Boss," he says quietly

"Yes, Jacob?". "

It was so gruesome though" Jacob whispers tears welling up in his eyes.

"Yes, we know." the boss replies impatiently

"We have to do more!" he cries.

The boss nods "We're trying." she says, this time in a kinder tone.

"Trying isn't enough" he responds. He gives one last hard glance at the woman and walks out the door.

After Jacob leaves the sad old woman who once was so passionate about bringing down the government feels as all her hope starts to leave her soul as the goal that seemed so possible only 20 years ago seems so impossible now. Just then a team of 4 men and 3 women who were tasked with spying in a government building barge through the door.

"Any information?" the boss asks.

"Apparently a bunch of government agents were injured in a fight." the breathless man explains. The boss perks up, another rebellion? Unlikely they were one of the only rebellions that haven't been crushed yet. But what if it was a new rebellion?

To answer her question the woman with blue hair answers "It wasn't a rebellion."

"How can you be so sure?" the boss asks skeptically.

"Because it was only 2 people." the blue-haired woman answers again.

"So you're telling me 2 people defeated a group of trained government agents?"

That's not possible!

"We swear boss, the top officials were going crazy over it and the injured agents said that it was definitely only 2 people, plus they said that the attackers had many chances to kill them but didn't." the team says. "Do they know the identities of the attackers?"

"Nope." they all say at the same time

"Why weren't the agents killed?" the boss asks

"Nobody knows but a theory is that they wanted to capture them alive but the agents escaped before they could do it." That time a green-haired male with tattoos covering his whole body answered, the blue-haired lady gave him a dirty look.

"Alright, I guess we do the obvious and track them down." the boss orders

"On it!" is the last thing the team says before they run out of the room.

Slowly the woman feels as a sparkle of hope appears, for the first time in a while a chance awaits them and maybe.... just maybe they would be the key to reaching her goal.

Hunters pov- 1 month ago

The 6 hunters known as Stray Kids sit around the table. No one speaks at first, they just stare at each other. They were still awkward with one another even though they've been living together for a while, after all, their whole lives they trained to kill not to make friends. In fact, they were encouraged to compete with the elite kids like them because out of hundreds of them only a few of them would pass the grueling tests to become hunters. So meeting someone and not automatically dueling with them came as a great surprise to them. Finally, the curly-haired boy named Chan speaks "10 government agents have been injured." Gasps emerge across the room. Anyone that works for the gov. does NOT and citizens weren't allowed to get injured and citizens were not allowed to and not strong enough to resist, there's a reason why sports were banned so no one could be as strong or skilled as a hunter or agent, that way the gov would stay in control.

"What happened?" asks Changbin, the shortest but strongest hunter in the group.

The leader remains silent. "Chan?" everyone says at the same time.

"They were injured by two male young adults," he whispers.

"Fuck" someone swears under his breath. All hunters were young adults and the only ones that could defeat an agent, did a hunter turn on the gov? No way. Not possible. Or is it? "It wasn't a hunter," Chan clarifies. Not a hunter? That was a bigger threat if there were people out there that are as strong as hunters but working against the gov. That would mean the government's grip on the country would slip and for hunters, that's probably the worst thing that could happen. Chan looks around the room "Stray Kids have been assigned to locate the two attackers, we will not be hunting until we catch those two, got it, everyone?"

"Yes."

"Alright then hurry and go get prepared we leave tomorrow night."

3rd person

The hunters return to their rooms in the mansion and start packing. Meanwhile, the rebellion is sneaking around the city. Both not knowing that their rival is after the same 2 people. And the attackers that the whole country is looking for? They just sit and wait.
