Hyunsik screams from behind me. He tries to cover my eyes. He starts dragging me away as the man in the hoodie comes closer.
It is loud. I hear gunfires. And screams.
Hyunsik turns me towards him, "Seungcheol look at me. Just look at me. You are safe. Do you hear me? Don't be scared. I'm with you."
I nod. He tells me not to be scared but he looks scared, worried. I want to ask him if my mom and dad are really dead but I can't seem to speak.
Are we really safe?
