"Nooooooo,"

Inuhasai's POV

What the hell?  I sheathe my weapon and jump to the nearest branch, out of the way.  I want to see a huge yellow and black twin-tailed cat, a small fox demon, and a female demon hunter. She must be the person I heard. Why would she of all people care for a demon cat? I don't understand.

    "Demon hunter, why do you care if I kill this demon?" I asked crouching out of view. I'm still very leary of humans. they are always extremely rude and mean even if I was just passing through.

    "That's Kirara, she is my best friend and companion. Please come out I know who you are,"

   "That doesn't mean I will trust you not to kill me,"

   "Why would I kill you? You helped us get a shard of the jewel back and didn't keep it or use it to hurt anyone, you seem pretty nice,"

   "How could say that after I almost killed your friend?"

   "You saw as a threat as she did you. You were doing what you had to survive. I promise if you come back down you'll see we are all very nice," 

   "Fine,"

    I jumped down and landed in a crouched position still very aware of my surroundings.  I feel something at my feet and see the same cat just much smaller rubbing up against me. It's quite nice actually. I look up at the hunter and nod toward her letting her know that I will trust them for now. I still don't know her name. She must not know mine either. I get up and introduce myself.

   "I'm Inuhasai, what's your name?" I ask with an outstretched hand and the best smile I had.

  "I'm Songo and this is Shippo. We are part of InuYasha and Kagome's group finding the shards of the Shikon Jewel. I'm sure everyone will be more than happy to add you to the team. I know InuYasha will be overjoyed," she said excitedly.

  "I guess it couldn't hurt, but the moment InuYasha babies me I'm going to fight him," I explain to her walking back the direction I came from the camp.

  I'm happy to join them. I wish InuYasha had been the one to ask me. I guess I could only hope he would treat me like an adult. Kirara seems to have taken a quick liking to me seeing as is rubbing up against me but it quite annoying when trying to walk. I grab her and put her on my shoulder. That makes it much better to walk. we make it back to the camp and I stay with Songo the entire time. InuYasha tries to talk to me, but I'm still extremely upset with him. If he wants to talk to me I.m going to make him work for it. I look to Kagome and she's talking to the monk. I'm very curious as to where we are heading and I bet my best bet to finding out is Kagome. I put Kirara down and head toward Kagome and the monk.

    " Miroku before we continue I think we should head to Kaede's village and rest its getting pretty late," I hear Kagome say.

   "That sounds like a good plan. Everyone, we are heading back to Kaede's village for the night since we are not that far." Miroku, the monk yells to everyone.

  So much for asking where we are going now, I know and doubt Kaede is going to be happy to see me. I can only wait until she sees me. I head back toward Songo and Kirara and walk with them.

HELLO!!!!!!!! I'm back and bearing this gift I know been awhile. I hope it is good and everyone enjoys it. It was fun to write again. I will see you in the next chapter.
