Chapter #1

"Postpone The Adventure!"
My P.O.V
Hi. My name is Lane and this is the story of how going into "the Void" has changed my friends' lives and my life. It all started with my friend, Mephistopheles, mentioning the weather. It said that tomorrow would be dark and the void would come at that time. My friend Teddy and I decided that we would go into "The Void" tomorrow. When tomorrow came, Mephistopheles tried to talk us out of it, but we didn't listen. We stepped into the void and it went dark. In the dark, I hear a voice. "Hey, Leah, wake up! We are going to be late," said the voice. I open my eyes and see that I am in bed. The room is pokemon themed. I look around and see THE Ash Ketchum, the main character in Pokemon. He said," Finally, it took some really loud yelling to get you to wake up Leah." I was shocked, I am his friend. I asked," Hey Ash, what am I doing at your house again?." He looked at me with a sad face and said," My dad and your parents died in a crash while picking you up from here. You didn't want to go with your aunt so you stayed here."

It was hard to wrap my head around. I am now the best friend with my favorite character and I am in the Pokemon world. I am so excited, I get to experience this. I was curious though what happened to my friends. I wonder what role they will get! I get up and get ready. My outfit is like what I have always wanted, it is a Navy blue hoodie jacket with a black undershirt. The pants are black with black/white shoes. My hat is basically black with a G.S ball logo. The G.S ball logo is lumpy though. I look at my hat more closely and see that on the inside it has a zipper. I look inside the pouch and see that it can hold up to six poke balls. I also have a pokemon ball belt in case. I look at the logo outside of the hat and see that the button is empty. I thought that it could perfectly fit a keystone, who knows.

After admiring my clothing I went down to eat breakfast. Ash wasn't there though. I was going to ask Mrs.Ketchum where Ash went until she said," After he woke you up he went back to sleep. It is your turn to wake him up." I walk up to his room and see him fast asleep. I scream," ASH KETCHUM, WAKE UP!" He woke up and fell onto the floor. He screamed, "LEAH! HOW DARE YOU! I WOKE YOU UP NICELY!" I look at him with a stare. "Mrs.Ketchum said we are going to be late if YOU don't hurry and change. We both still need to eat." He woke up and got changed in less than 20 minutes. He looked at me with a death glare, but I ignored him. After eating Mrs.Ketchum said," Okay now be safe. Just because you are getting your first Pokemon doesn't mean that you can run to Professor Oak's lab."

It took us ten minutes to get there and I saw a familiar face. It is Teddy as Gary Oak! Teddy is actually dressed as Gary, but instead of purple, it was brown. Teddy saw me and ran up to me. Teddy said," Lane you went into "The Void" too?." "Yes, I did Teddy. If not you would have not seen me." I said. "Makes sense. Also, I need to talk to you in private." Ash was just looking at us and said: "Gary, what Pokemon did you get?" Teddy whispered to me," I woke up at the gate with this Pokeball in my hand. Then everyone came to me and started cheering" He showed me Bulbasaur's Pokeball. In the background, I hear," GARY! GARY! HE'S OUR MAN! IF HE CAN'T DO IT! NO ONE CAN!" I start to die of laughter. Ash started to look at me weird. "Oh, and Gary got a Bulbasaur," I stated.

After that, two other people came out with one Pokeball each. Ash and I are last! I said," See you later Oak Tree" and ran off dragging Ash. He kept hitting his head on something. I ran to the Professor and he said," I knew that both of you would be late so I got ready two extra Pokemon ready to take with you." I took both our pokeballs and gave Ash his. He opened his up and out came a male Pikachu. I was happy and sad, I wanted a Pikachu too. Professor Oak knew the expression on my face and said," I knew that one of you would be jealous of another so I made a surprise." He winked at me, signaling to open my Pokeball too. I opened it and out came another male Pikachu. "They are both males and they are also twins!" Ash and I were so surprised we just ran up and hugged our Pikachus and squished them. They shocked us like there is no tomorrow. "They are also don't really like hugs, so watch out. Also here are your pokeballs and Pokedex." the Professor continued. After, he handed us our stuff.

After, Ash tried to make Pikachu go into its Pokeball. Ash's Pikachu used iron tail and sent the ball back right in its face. "Why me?" Ash moaned. I tried putting my Pikachu in its Pokeball but it also used Iron Tail. Although, unlike Ash, I move to the left and used my right hand to catch it. I closed my eyes so I don't fail and it came in a hard thud. I look at my hand and it was a bright red. The Pikas were shocked that their mouths were opened. Ash got up, saw my hand and said," Hey Leah are you okay?" Next thing I know I scream,"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAA." My eyes start to water and I am about to go down the stairs when I hear," Lane are you here?" Before I could say anything I feel a hand holding me and then many, many, many thuds later. I wake up and see that I landed on Teddy and Ash landed on me.

Next thing I know again I scream," ASHGETOFFOFMEBEFOREIKICK YOURHEADOFF!" He was gaining consciousness and got off of me. Teddy woke up and he ended up sitting on top of me. I yell again saying," TEDDYGETOFF!" Then I kicked him in the head and said," Finally, you guys got off." They both looked at me and asked," Did you have to kick us?" "Yes because we landed on top of each other," I said. Teddy and Ash ran to the bathroom before I can say another word.

Ash's P.O.V (In the bathroom)
"I can't believe I landed on her!"I said, while vigorously wash my face. "I can't believe she landed on me and knocked me out," Gary said. I heard Leah call him Teddy instead of Gary Oak. "How do you know Leah?" I asked this "Teddy"."Lane is one of my "friends" in the real," he said, but he never finished his sentence. After that, he left the bathroom and I could barely hear him talk to Leah.

My P.O.V
"I am so dumb!" Teddy said while running to me. "Why?"I asked. He responded with," I was close to telling Ash about our world, the real world." I slapped him in the face. "THINK TEDDY, THINK!" I shouted at him. Just then Ash's Pikachu and my Pikachu came to see how we are doing. Along with Professor Oak. "I am glad to see you are okay. I will be heading to the back. I will see you in a while."Professor Oak said before leaving. The Pikas used tackle on Teddy just to make him unconscious. "Good one Pikachu and Asher, I will now call you Asher because your owner is Ash and mine is just Pikachu because I want to keep it like that," I told the Pikas. I help the unconscious Teddy to a chair while waiting for Ash. Ash came out of the bathroom and had a sad look on his face. "Why the look," I asked Ash. "Nothing. Are you ready to go on our first adventure?" "Yes! Also can Te... I mean Gary join? I can't leave him here." I asked. "Yup, totally," Ash said. "Okay let's head to our house for the night. He can bunk with you in your room," I told Ash. He nodded and we headed to his house. When we got
there we talked to Mrs.Ketchum. Of course, she reminded Ash to get ready for everything. His underwear, his gloves, and stuff like that. Ash got so embarrassed.
