#9 - Tears

"You're avoiding him, aren't you?" Jennie raises an eyebrow at you as you both sit down in the canteen.

"Avoiding who?" You innocently ask whilst taking a sip of your drink.

Jennie sighs. "You know who."

You shrug. "What makes you say that I'm avoiding him?"

"When we were walking down the hall and Jimin and Taehyung were walking the opposite way, you made a weird squeaky noise and then legged it."

"No I didn't."

"You pushed past me and made me fall!"

You blink and think back to it. "Oh I did? Sorry. I bet Taehyung helped you up right?" You joke whilst laughing to yourself.

Jennie stutters for words and looks away.

Your eyes begin to widen, as you thought you were only joking.

"He did?"

She nods. "One minute I'm thinking why the fuck did this girl yeet me and then next thing you know a huge body with a deep ass voice towers over me and asks if I'm okay and apologises for his sister pushing me on the floor!"

You burst out laughing which catches Jaebum's attention when walking past your table. "What are you two laughing about?"

"Nothing." Jennie hisses.

As you calm down and wipe the tears from your eyes, you answer him. "I'll tell you later in detention."

Jennie scoffs and scowls at you.

"Jaebum you have detention again? What's wrong with you?" His friend standing next to him groans whilst looking at Jaebum in disappointment.

"Leave me alone, It's actually quite nice in there!" Jaebum fires back at him.

His friend shakes his head and sighs. "How the hell is it nice?"

"Don't act like you haven't been in there a couple of times before Jinyoung." Jennie narrows her eyes at him.

"Yeah Jinyoung!" Jaebum folds his arms smugly and laugh.

Jinyoung scoffs and avoids eye contact will all of you, and they both carry on walking to their table.

"Anyway! Back to the situation. Y/N it's only for a day, and then it's all over and he'll finally leave you alone. So just suck it up for 11 more hours and then you are free!" Jennie pops a chip dipped in ketchup in her mouth whilst smiling.

You groan massaging your eyes. "This is going to be a long 11 hours."

~In detention~

"I'm not even surprised anymore that it's now you four in here." The same teacher sighs and examines us sitting down.

"Well, I have a meeting to go to so all of you are staying in here. I'm locking the door from the outside until I come back." He stands and makes way to the exit.

"What if we need to pee?" Jaebum says.

The teacher gestures to the plant pot and Jennie scowls. As he said he would he locks the door shut behind him leaving the four of you locked inside the room once again.

Jaebum spins around in his chair to face you all. "Looks like we're stuck in here again. Lovely."

Jennie sighs and looks around the room. "I have a feeling this hour is going to drag."

You nod in agreement. "Definitely."

Again, you don't look at Jimin once.

However when you do take a little glance you can't help notice that something is clearly wrong. He didn't look or talk to you or Jennie and Jaebum when he came in. His head is turned away, with his hand keeping his head up and he sits in silence.
