it's been a few days since jackson and jinyoung had texted. jackson just wanted just own space, he's been also distancing himself to his friends.

"bro, are you ok? do you want me to come over? we could watch some adventure time together" youngjae smiled.

"i'm okey! i just need a bit of alone time that's all"

"alright, well if you need anything give me a call"

"sure thing" jackson sighed as he hanged up.

jackson slumped down, looking up at the ceiling of his room. nothing to do he thought. jackson ran downstairs and left the house without telling his mom anything, it's not like she'll care right? jackson thought.

he took the bus to the downtown area of korea. he put his earbuds in and walked around; admiring the city. "i want some ice cream" he said to himself. "i wanna give myself a treat"

he got his ice cream and saw a little crowd with loud music pumping, he walked over and saw some people dancing. ah, street dancers.

i mean they were very talented, they all moved in sync to the beat, he wanted to try dancing but he stopped when he was 13 since his mom wanted him to study instead.

"wahh, they're so good" he heard someone next to him say. "i know right, i wish i could be as good as them" jackson said.

"jackson?"

the younger turned and saw jinyoung. why am i always bumping into him jackson thought. "oh hey jinyoung" he smiled.

"didn't know you would be into street dancing" jinyoung said.

"well i kinda just stumbled here" the younger laughed.

"me too. i kinda needed a break from home"

"what a coincidence, me too"

they both watched and talked about the music and dances, jackson enjoyed it, who knew jinyoung would actually be this nice? usually jinyoung is known to be the "intimidating" boy, that's why he always attracted girls at our school.

they both watched and talked till the sun was setting. "wanna go get something to eat?" jackson asked. "yeah sure! i'm pretty hungry"

the two walked to the closest 7-eleven since they didn't have enough money to eat at somewhere fancy.

"bro. that's not how you make ramen stupid" jackson smacked jinyoung on the shoulder lightly, causing jinyoung to chuckle. "you pour the seasoning and soup powder first, that's how it'll have more flavor"

"really? it just tastes the same to me"

"well your taste buds are broken"

they both went outside and ate. "so you go to **** highschool right?" jinyoung asked.

"yeah"

"how come i haven't seen you around?"

"i'm usually known as the quiet kids"

jinyoung thought to himself, that sounds familiar. "oh i see"

"well you don't seem like that type, you're funny"

"yeah yeah, i just don't like expressing myself in school"

the two got to know each other more and more and went home on their separate ways.

"yah! where were you all day?" jackson's mom scolded.

"i was out somewhere" jackson said vaguely.

"sucking dick? hm, seems like it" his mom laughed.

"mom. can we not right now?"

"i hate you jackson! WHY CANT YOU JUST BE A NORMAL SON FOR ONCE"

"WELL IM SORRY I CANT BE WHO YOU WANT ME TO BE" jackson cried.

"MOM WHY CANT YOU JUST ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM?" his mother stayed silent.

"wherever. you don't even know what to say anyways" he quickly ran upstairs and bursted out crying.

why can't they understand?

why did i have to be born here? why can't i be in another family, or why can't i just be a normal person. society is too judge-mental, they expect you to be this type of person, you can't be yourself, you can't be anything, because at the end of the day they judge you.

i cant even be happy for a second, jackson thought. i always ruin everything.
