A CRASH THAT CHANGED MY LIFE .

Part 1

"Alice"

I raised my hands absently when the class counsellor called my name . Ironic , I should be excited but right now I am feeling melancholy . Its my first day at college and rasied my face to find a girl staring at me . Great ! Now I feel like an  alien . This is different country and people around me are fairer in compliction aren't the only reason to make me feel  like a fish out of water. I am missing my family already but its only 18 hours since I left then . I made a mental note to call my mother after the class.

"Hi ! I am Asley  "

I jerked at that remark and found my classmate smiling at me .

"Hi I am alice , Nice to meet you ",I smiled at her back .

"Where are you staying Alice ?"

" I am staying at a lodge presently . The warden promised me to arrange a room in student's residence . What about you ?". I have to change my accommodation soon. The lodge rent is costing  me a fortune .

"Oh ! If that so , you can join us , myself and Riya , uh ,'RIYA '

A girl sitting next her turned to me and gave me a wave before returning to her work.

" .. is sharing a room . The room can accommodate three people " .

"Oh ! Thank you so much Asley . I hope your friend won't mind " , if she minds then I have to talk with warden again . Staying at that lodge 5 more days will completely deprive my finance .

"No , I think she actually like you because she never talks with people " , she told me in murmur .

I gave her amused look . I have cope up with my room mates , don't I ?

I started chating with Asley about college rules and facilities .All this time Riya turned at us only once and resume reading her book without giving is second glance. I rather doubt Asley 's statement. Asley is  really a nice  person to hang out with .I turned around and glanced at my class room , around 50 students , most are chattering , some are texting. Not bad . They are not so different after all.

Every thing was going well until he entered the class , the person who I never want to meet again in my life ! yes , I met him before two years , after which my life is never the same.

Why does he have study in this college  , when there are million other  colleges in earth. Why should he be my classmate , after all it is such a large campus .

I ducked under desk to avoid his gaze , if he is a student , I am avoiding him by all chances.

My little faith shattered to pieces , when he said, "I am Mr Colton , I am going to handle Acoustics "

He wandered his gaze  all over class before settling it over me. He turned away . I must have imagined it . He would have forgotten me by now .It been two years since.........

The other part mind asked , can he forgot after all things happened between us in that wretched island .I can still remember it like yesterday. When his lips crashed against mine . Hot and full !  I shivered at that thought . I frantically wished he doesn't remember me .

"Ouch " someone kicked my leg . I raised my head to find entire class watching me . Shit! I missed something . I glanced at Asley for clue .

"Miss..." , he gave me introgative look .His blue eyes shining as usual.

For a moment , my heart stopped beating , he is just the same as before two years.

"Corning", I replied , recovering from shock.Thank god , he doesn't remember my name.

"Would you like to tell us about you , Miss corning ?", he gave me a crooked grin.

" I am Alice corning , My majors is March , I have completed civil engineering as my undergraduate course "

I quickly sat down blushing . I missed entire introduction part , thinking about him.  His eyes is shining as a reply for every single word I said. I turned to hear what Riya is saying. She is much more nervous than me .

"He is handsome , all girls are nervous "

I looked at him as Asley said that.He is desperately searching for a duster to rub something he has written wrong .

This how he exactly looked when he was building the hut in isalnd two years ago, messed up everything ,it was when our flight crashed in middle of ocean . I landed a wretched island alone to find someone covered in  sand . For moment I thought the person is dead ,not until I found him breathing.  I dragged him shores and wrinkled some water over his face . He opened his eyes .blue! So blue .otherwise he looked like a cave man covered all over in mud and blood.

A smile curled in lips thinking about that day.

I mentally slapped myself for remembering the past again .I been trying to forget it for two years in vain.

Bell started ringing . I almost ran out the class without giving him a look .Frightened that I melt in arms again , if I stayed there one more minute! I am afraid that I will myself hurt deep down  in heart again!
