The Hunter x Reader part 1

You had done it yet again.

You had managed to get yourself lost in the infected roads of greenpath. Not only were you tired but you couldn't seem to get a break from the infection. "Remind me later to never listen to Tiso you said out loud to no one in particular.

While you were exploring and trying not to fall into the pools of acid or the sharp glimming spikes that seemed to litter this place you found a place of the beaten path,it had stone spikes littered into the greenery that looked like sharpened teeth. You thought to yourself "if I go into that place will the ground open up and I be swallowed and never make it out of here? But your curiosity had gotten the better of you,so with your nail half drawn you carefully made your way into the greenery.

You saw nothing a first just spikes and green, but as you reached an end you saw a rather large bush. It had a black center with spikes outlineing the black. You stepped forward slowly,and out of your stupid curiosity you poked the bush with your nail.

That was stupid. The bush was not a bush , it was but camoflage for a bug. It opened its eyes and they darted straight to you. You stumbled back in surpise and fear when the the bug stood up. He was tall,all black except for the green camoflage and had 6 white eyes. He stared at you and you stared back. You held your breath expecting to be attacked by the bug, but you were not. Instead to your surpise he held out a hand to which you stared. "Aren't you angry or u-upset that I poked you? You asked. "No. "I should be but I can tell a bug such as yourself is not familiar around here he said."Is it that obvious you said back. "Very. You sighed in defeat and grabbed his hand still held out to you,which to you surpise was very cold. "Thank you. What is your name you said to the bug. I am know as The Hunter, he said in a proud-ish way. "The Hunter? "Sounds very egotistical you responded to which he laughed. "I like you he said "you seem very honest and kind, you were about to say thank you when he said"but bravely stupid and not so good with directions. "Well at least I don't look like a bush with burnt bannanas" you responded. To which he laughed some more. Now you couldn't help it you both were laughing. It was strange you both had just met and it seemed like you knew him all your life.

When the laughter died down you had just noticed you were still holding hands with the bug. You ignored it though, you liked it, it made you feel warm and you felt a little heat flush to your cheeks. That's when he saw you looking at your both intertwined hands and squeezed your hand a little to snap you back into reality. You looked up at him and you thought you saw a pinch of blush. "I never did get your name." It's Y/N. "Well Y/N you can stay here if you want to before you head on out. You smiled and said "Thank you Hunter. He nodded and you two talked some more before you headed out. You decided you were going to go to dirtmouth first thing to mark this place on your map to make sure you don't forget your way.
