"That's so bullshit"
"ITS NOT! Witches are REAL! I swear my mom was one!"
"Just because your mom was a bitch doesn't mean she was a witch"
"It could Gabriel. Another way to tell if it's a witch.... if they have green eyes."
The girl waved her hands in the air to signify fear. The male blinked once.
"Okay.... maybe. But I highly doubt that. I haven't seen a person with green eyes in years"
"What are you guys talking about now?" A girl with white pearl hair and long lashes walked into a small living room where the two were sitting.
"Ginger, tell your brother that witches are real."
"Gabriel, they're real,"
"No, not you too Ginger. Did Nina get you with her bullshit."
"It's real. Witches are real. I've seen the deadliest one."
Gabriel pressed his hand against his cheek.
"Oh yeah? Who?"
"The clock witch."
Nina's breathe picked up.
"Oh? Who is the clock witch." Gabriel rolled his eyes. Ginger sat down on the silver couch next to Gabriel. He felt her sink next to him.
"The clock witch is the most deadliest witch of all. All witches have one power that they stick to and train themselves on for years. The Witch of the North is the master of ice, the Witch of the Sea is the master of water, and so on. But the Clock Witch, no one can predict her magic. Most witches are born witches, and they use their powers to set up shops and sell potions to humans, but the Clock Witch wasn't born a witch, she was cursed, so she has rage. She hides among regular people, and those that piss her off, she traps them in her pocket watch. Over time, they slowly die. Reaching her is almost impossible. Basically, you try not to piss anyone off in public, because she could be anyone."
Gabriel yawned.
"How did you meet her again?"
"Oh yes, I once saw a woman trap a man in her pocket watch after he bumped into her."
Gabriel reached up his arms and stretched, feeling the muscles pulling. He let out a breath as his arms fell down.
"Why should I believe this? There is no facts that Witches are real besides crack heads like Nina believing this bull." Nina crossed her arms.
"You should find a word more creative than bull and shit."
"Whatever, you'll never get me to believe in witches."
Nina looked back at Ginger. She smirked.
"Ginger, what did the Clock Witch look like?" Ginger puffed out her cheeks a little as she thought. Her mind swirling for answers.
"Her hair was black, in a low bun with strands of hair in front of her face. She had a skirt that was white down to her knees, Mary Janes, and a black turtle neck. She also had the greenest eyes I've ever seen."
"I see, thank you Ginger," Nina got up off the couch and ran to the door. She ran right into a girl with short red hair.
"Oh! I'm sorry Nina!"
"No, sorry Amber, I'll be back." Nina stumbled to the door as she put on her shoes and ran out the door. Amber walked over to Gabriel and sat down next to him. Ginger got up to grab a book off a shelf.
"Where is she going?" Gabriel slung his arm over Amber's shoulder and yawned.
"I don't know... probably to be a nut job." Amber looked over at Gabriel after the comment. She leaned closer to his face, noticing his deadly eye bags.
"You're so tired today, how much sleep did you get? Amber rubbed Gabriel's cheek.
"You worried about me~" Gabriel smiled. Amber giggled in response. A groan was heard.
"Get a room please."
———————————-
It was pitch black outside when the front door was thrown open. A sound of a female grunt was heard. Gabriel opened his eyes. He saw Ginger was waving her arms around in anger, and so was Nina. He groggily looked around and saw a woman with black hair in a bun on their living room floor.
"Nina, what the fuck." Gabriel was awake now.
Amber jolted awake.
"Mmmh?"
The black haired female got up. The robes that were holding her body close together suddenly just slipped off. Gabriel gasped. She had the greenest eyes of someone he has ever seen. They were literally glowing. They looked like the forest green when spring hits right after the winter. She had a deep glare on her face.
Ginger looked fearful, Nina shaken.
Gabriel stood up.
"Alright lady, I'm so sorry that my friend brought you here, she is.... not from around here. But if you get going, that would be lovely." The woman snapped her head over to Gabriel.
"Hush boy. I don't take orders from you."
"Pardon me but do you know who you're talking too? Do you know who my father is?"
The lady chuckled.
"Oh, I know very well who your father is. I know who you all are. And..... I realized something."
The lady started to walk closer to Amber. Gabriel moved in front of Amber. But the witch just snapped her fingers and a wall suddenly smashed into his side sending him flying into the wall of his house. The witch grabbed Amber's face between her fingers.
"I'm low on rats."
She pulled out her pocket watch and before anyone could react, Amber was sucked into the pocket watch.
Nina grabbed the sharpest object from a table and charged at the witch. The witch turned around right as Nina stabbed the object into her heart. But, it spread apart. It looked like... mud?
The witch smiled the creepiest smile, with all her teeth exposed, and her eyes shrank in size.
"Catch me if you can."
Her body melted into a pile of mud. It was a fake all along. A clone made from a spell. Small particles of green floating in the air.
Nina just dropped the object in defeat. Ginger started to clap her hands, while Nina and Gabriel watched.
Ginger stopped clapping.
"Great job Nina, you managed to piss off the most powerful witch."
Gabriel walked back over.
"Well, how are we gonna get MY FUCKING girlfriend back?!" Ginger knelt down next to Gabriel and punched him square in the face. She took his face in both her hands.
"I only know one way. Amber was transported into basically a new dimension. The only way to enter, is by a game called,
Red Door, Yellow Door
I'll explain it later, but basically, you enter a world full of doors and clocks. There are certain rules you must follow, or else you can get trapped inside the game yourself. We'll see Amber. We can bring her home if we manage to get outside the maze. But... if we run into any clocks, we can get trapped in their and become her slave, forever." Ginger let go of Gabriel. Gabriel wiped the blood from his nose and sighed.
"So basically, it's one giant game, of cat and mouse."
Everyone went silent.
Because,
That was exactly right.
How could they beat her?
