In a world where many insignificant things exists, she existed.
A shy, introverted, socially impaired wallflower, there's nothing much to tell about her life. She never stood out, she never affected people in a positive or negative way, she was nothing.
Being nothing satisfied her. She didn’t feel attached or obligated to anyone or anything. Should she catch someone’s eye, the person would unknowingly be manipulated and will feel indifferent soon enough.
Nothing was important to her, and she was important to nobody. Her sole purpose was to breathe out carbon dioxide and produce human waste. This is how she remained in control of her universe. Everyone and everything is according to her plan.
There was only one thing that she couldn’t control, one person she could not manipulate, and that is when someone has fallen deeper and deeper in love with her no matter how much she tried to manipulate the person to feel indifferent or make that someone hate her.
Things started to spiral out of control. The harder she pushed, the opposite happened. Until one day, she gave up pushing. She got tired of pushing. She held her offensive position towards this in coming object but it was no use. Like a comet crashing into her world, no matter how much she blasted away to save her peaceful environment, to assure her safety, it didn’t matter. All hope is lost as she realized that there was no way to stop the comet.
As another person has penetrated inside her defenses, she felt her heart started to ache. All these sudden emotions she never had before, laughing, smiling and caring were all so foreign to her. She started to enjoy the small details, she started forming friendships with people, she has changed.
Over time, she feared these feelings would leave her as the penetrator would see that she was an insignificant being to hold these emotions. She has the right to fear as the penetrator later pushed her away.
As the penetrator left, it left an open hole. A huge broken wall is now seen in her universe. Now that she has lost control of things, millions of unknown has entered her world.
She was scared of this unknowns. It blinded her, hurt her, and enveloped her in darkness and lies.
Due to so much fear of encountering anymore unknowns in her broken wall, she hid herself inside one of the unknowns she has grown familiar with. Although she was hiding inside a thing that hurts her, she was familiar with this pain. She could get used to this pain.
She hid herself in this unknown ball for what seems like an eternity. This unknown ball, which she grew to understand and became her new wall, hid her from the bigger unprotected wall.
Until one day, more unknowns would bump on her unknown ball and would leave some cracks. She still remained inside, sometimes getting scratches from the new incoming unknowns.
As she got more and more scratches from incoming unknowns, she appreciated it as she started to feel more alive. She has been stuck in the unknown ball that she forgot she could feel. At the same time it scared her, the incoming unknowns could kill her.
She held tight onto her unknown ball, hoping to live in there for eternity. This was the only way she could ensure her safety once again, to block incoming objects even if it means dying and suffocating inside.
She was just a shy, introverted, socially impaired wallflower trying to live life without affecting anyone or anything. How could such a thing happen to her?
