I FORGOT TO CHECK THE LABEL
"Kumain ka na?"
The moment I read Rage's chat, I couldn't help but to giggle on my bed. Sino ba namang hindi kiligin? 'Yong crush mo, magchachat sa 'yo?!
My fingertips trembled as I typed, "Yes, ikaw?"
Matapos kong mag-reply, nagtuloy-tuloy na 'yong conversation namin ni Rage.
Palagi niya rin akong sinasamahang mag-lunch kaya 'di maiwasang tuksuin kami ng mga bestfriends ko.
I know and I feel it that there's something behind Rage's action. Hindi ako manhid para hindi maramdaman ang mga ipinapakita niyang motibo sa akin.
Ilang araw ang lumipas at mas lalong naging sweet sa akin si Rage. Sinasamahan niya pa ako kapag uwian na. I ain't that blind to not to notice those signs he is showing.
I know he's courting. I know that he likes me. But he just can't say it right through my face.
"Bes, kayo na ni Rage? OMG!" my bestfriend beamed.
I stunned after hearing my bestfriend.
I gulped, can't find a perfect and a right word to answer her question.
Wait, ano nga bang meron sa amin ni Rage?

Matapos ang klase ay agad kong pinuntahan si Rage sa kanilang bahay para linawin lahat.
Malayo pa lang ako ay nakita ko na siya sa harap ng gate nila, may kasamang ibang babae.
At biglang nanikip ang dibdib ko and it felt like something's suffocating me.
Without hesitations, pinuntahan ko sila at nagulat silang dalawa nang makita ako.
"T-Tamara?" Rage stammered, beads of sweat trickled across his temple.
"A-Ano 'to? Sino ang babaeng 'yan?" I yelled, squinting my eyes to the woman beside him.
Raging tears began to form at the corner of my eyes.
"Hindi mo ba naisip na magseselos ako, Rage? Paano na 'yong tayo?" My heart clenched painfully as tears pushed their way out of my eyes.
"ANO BA KITA?" he asked and my lips quivered.
That caught me off-guard.
Ano nga ba ako sa kanya?
"Walang tayo, Tamara! Remember?" he bantered back.
And that hit me.
He's right. Walang kami. At hindi naging kami.
Maybe it's my entire fault.
Because I forgot to check something.
Yeah, I forgot to check the label.
