Danganronpa: Truth and Lies

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞, 𝟐

Static rang through the room, and Rin and Kyandi both looked at the figure warily as the static noise continued. Himitsu walked over to the person and stared into their dull eyes. A gasp sounded from behind him, and Rin grabbed his arm as he examined them. 'They're not moving... what's up with them?' He gulped and poked the figure in the face. No response was given and as that happened, the Engineer noticed that Kyandi had vanished. He swore under his breath, though he couldn't blame the guy for leaving. Himitsu moved closer and noticed that the static became louder as he did so. Something clicked in his head and he went round to her back and spotted a small, almost invisible switch embedded into the figure's neck. One 'click' later, and the static stopped, though nothing else seemed to happen. A few moments passed, and suddenly the person's eyes shone with life. Himitsu jumped back as a voice echoed from the figure.

"Huh...? Who...?"

The voice was female, though it was drowned out by Rin's scream of surprise. The Robotics Engineer himself stepped round to the front of the newly active girl, who was looking nervously at Rin.

"Ah! I am sorry, I did not mean to scare you in any way!" The new girl bowed deeply. Straightening up, she looked at the pair in front of her, smiling bashfully. "I am Designation R3G-4L, the Super High School Level AI. It is better to call me Regal, I have noticed that it is easier."

Himitsu's eyes widened with excitement, and he gasped. "You're a robot!"

"Android," Regal corrected.

The dollmaker smiled at the boy's excitement, before giving Regal a kindly look. "I'm Rin Yoka, Ultimate Dollmaker. Nice to meet you."

"Oh! Introductions, right! I'm Himitsu Uso, Ultimate Robotics Engineer." He stuck his hand out, and Regal shook it, before walking into the centre of the room and gazing at the pictures that the other two (and Kyandi, wherever he'd got to) had been so enthralled with before her entrance. Himitsu now recognised her portrait, and mentally tallied up how many people there were. Me, Kyandi, Regal and Rin. So there's 13 more people, huh? He sighed, thinking.

"We should try and find everyone else," He muttered, "That's the most logical thing to do."

"I do agree." Regal nodded and looked at Rin.

She beamed, "Yeah! Aw, Uso's thinking this through logically! Glad someone is, because that guy," She pointed at the door that - Himitsu assumed - Kyandi must have left through, "sure isn't."

" 'That guy'? Who is that?" The android asked, confused.

"This weird amnesiac guy, Kyandi." Rin made an unflattering face as she said his name, huffing as she did so. "Turns up, you appear and he vanishes!"

Himitsu sighed, "But he seemed cautious earlier, I can't blame him for it."

The tan girl huffed but accepted it as she looked up at Regal. Now that the android was in the light, the other two could get a better look at her. She was much taller than either of them, though she held herself with an air of elegance that mimicked a dancer. Strong, yet refined. The material that her 'hair' was made of was a purple colour and ran down her back in a plait that reached her waist. However, she had armour-like clothing on, with silver highlights that ran with lights as she moved around.

"We should see if we can find these others," Himitsu said, waving at the portraits around the hourglass, and the girls nodded. Regal bowed again, "I can try and locate some others so that we can discover them sooner. We should bring them in here when we encounter them."

"Yes! I agree!" Rin nodded excitedly, before looking around, "Uso and I can go that way," she pointed through the door that Kyandi left had through, "and you can go that way!" She pointed at another door next to the hourglass. Regal nodded, waved at the pair, and left through the doorway Rin had gestured to. The dollmaker sighed and grabbed Himitsu's sleeve again, and dragged him through the door after Kyandi.
