A hardened Sniper (RWBY x Male Reader)

Chapter 10

                                                                                       (Y/N)'s POV

As I got out of the shower and dressed and looked towards the bed I saw Liz still on my bed still red-faced and Jess on her bed looking downwards as if thinking about something. "J-just don't tell him about any of it please?" Liz asked Jess a little worried as neither noticed that I got out of the shower.

"Tell who about what?" I asked as Liz jumped a little before blushing again as Jess just looked at me. "N-nothing (Y/N) nothing at all" Liz said which was obviously suspicious but I just said ok before getting my shoes on and was about to head out before Jess asked me where I was going to which I replied saying I was going to go on a walk.

"And do you think you're going to get to just ignore the fact that you got drunk yesterday not only on a school day but so early and then you decided to sleep for more than 12 hours" Jess chastised me as I looked at her like she was crazy and then look at Liz who just slightly nodded her head agreeing with Jess as I just sighed. "Look I didn't mean to sleep that long but I am heading out because I would rather know where our classes are so I'm not late to our second day of school," I said as I was about to head out before I heard my scroll go off and I as I checked it I saw a message with an image of the layout of Beacon and at the bottom of the picture was a smiley face with an 'L' by it.

"Where the fuck is Leo at anyways?" I was annoyed by what he sent me or I'm guessing it was him and the fact that I haven't seen him since initiation. "He wakes up early, like real early and leaves to go do something I asked what it was and he just told me 'something important'" Jess answered me as I sighed before saying I'm going to go for a walk anyways with Sadie and I left before Jess could try and argue with me anymore. 

As I was walking around I was trying to figure out this semblance thing or at least try and figure out what mine was and while doing so I looked up and saw yellow coming at me fast but it was on the opposite side of a door from me and I moved to the side to see a blonde boy go through a door and into the wall on the other side of the hallway. "You good man?" I asked while walking over to him to help get him on his feet. "Y-yeah I'm good" he answered as I helped him up and turned around hearing a redhead telling him sorry and a shorter woman in pink yelling for the redhead to do it again as I walked off continuing to try and find Leo.

After a little bit of searching for him, I came upon Ozpin who told me that he was In Professor Peach's class and when I got there he was In the room with Peach just looking like they were testing on bullets including 5mm, 9mm, 305, 45. and a bunch more. "What's up with the bullets there?" I asked, curious about what was going on "Ah, Mr.(L/N) good to see you here, we are working on AP rounds for ranged weapons" Peach answered me to which I asked weren't armor-piercing rounds already invented.

"Aura piercing rounds" Leo answered my question grabbing a small box of 45. Rounds and putting them in my hand "you don't exactly need these but it's safer for you to have them in general." Leo said before going back over to Peach and helping clean up the area, "Mr.(L/n) I'll be writing a pass for Leo here but, you might need to hurry to Ms.Goodwitch's class before she ends up chewing you out for being late" Peach told me before I checked the time seeing it was close for the first hour to start to which I told them both thank you and headed to combat class.

As I got into class I checked and saw one of the first there as I headed up to the far left corner and just sat there waiting for class to start. As I was waiting for more kids started to come into the class including Jess and Liz who sat in front of me not even noticing I was there to which didn't bother me as I just wanted to get finished with these classes in general as I wanted to go and try out these new AP rounds as Leo called them. As was examining one the bullets Ms.Goodwitch decided to make her presence known "Hello class, welcome to combat class, I am Ms.Goodwitch and since this the second time here we will be sparring more people in order to get a feel for who can do what and know what we will be learning about." She stated as she continued on I was slowly drifting off due to boredom. After a few minutes, I felt someone nudge me as I looked over they motioned to the front of the class where Goodwitch was looking at me clearly annoyed. "Huh? What's up?" I asked her clearly not caring. "Mr.Winchester has asked you to a dual, do you accept," She said as I looked down to see the guy challenged me as I realized he was the same person who was bullying Liz when I first got here as I realized this I only nodded to answer her question as I grabbed my revolver and loaded in the AP rounds. As I finished loading in the bullets I walked down there where Goodwitch told me to go get ready to which I answered that already was while holding my revolver as Cardin as I figured out his name, was standing there with a cocky smile on his face thinking he had the upper hand it he got close.
