Sweat and tears. Rubber squeaking on the wood floor. The loud music playing. Mirrors reflecting what they saw. You looked into the mirror as you danced to make sure you did the moves right. Your face was a tough, worn out, tired one. Your limbs were in pain as you trudged on. You had to get this dance right. You just had to get it down so you wouldn't make a fool of your self. You danced for a dance studio who filmed and uploaded dance covers to YouTube. it wasn't really surprising at all that you were worked up at all. "Yah! Y/N, your getting better!" Your teacher yelled over the music as you continued to move along. Within seconds the song ended and you were out of breath. "I never knew you had such a tough expression while dancing. Maybe you should've become an actor." The teacher teased as you panted for air. "I'd rather dance than say lines I wouldn't mean." You rolled your eyes and slide down to the floor. This wasn't the first time you've danced in public but this dance was a harder one to grasp within the time given.

"Alright, you're free to go home Y/N. You worked hard today. Get some rest when you go home and be here bright and early tomorrow." The teacher dismissed you and you grabbed your things and left the studio. That night after you took a shower, you fell asleep as soon as you laid down. Tomorrow was the day you danced in public and you couldn't be late.

When you woke up, it was quite early so you got up and got dressed for the day. You slid into some black ripped jeans, and put on a white button-up shirt. Tucking in the shirt, you put on a black blazer and put on sunscreen to your face. Walking to the kitchen you grabbed a granola bar and slid on your shoes. "I need to be early to practice a bit more and help load up everything." You went to the studio after your breakfast and danced to the song again. "Y/N, let's get these things loaded up so we can go." The guy who was doing Hongjoong's part said as you walked over and helped.

When we got unloaded and set up, we all got into our spots and the music started. You did the moves like you knew how to. You thought you were being a bit too rough with your movements but you just shrugged it off. When it was your parts, you moved to your spots and gave various facial expressions as you do in practice. It was just the way you danced. When the song finished you were tired. Very tired.

You went home after we did the shoot. You changed from the clothes you were wearing and went straight to bed. You don't know for how long but when you got up the sun was going down. Rolling over to see your phone on the side table. "How did I sleep for two days and why is it 7 pm?" You said aloud to yourself as you got up and changed into some sweatpants and a t-shirt. "Ramen for tonight sounds fine to me." You hummed as you grabbed my keys and left. The corner store is always open so it wasn't like you had to walk to the store. When you walked in, you noticed the place was busier than normal. Shrugging it off you grabbed a basket and started to look around.

Finding your way to the ramen section rather quickly, you grabbed one of your favorite ramens and went over to the fridge section where they had various side dishes that were cheap. That's when you bumped into someone while getting the last strawberry milk. "Oh, I'm sorry." You said as you handed them the strawberry milk they were also going for. "You can have it, I have some at home." You bowed and walked away to go pay for your things. "The total is 16,525 won." You reached for your card as someone put their card on the counter before you. "Here." You looked at the guy and he was carrying the strawberry milk. "San? From Ateez?" You were baffled. The cashier took his card and swiped it through the system.

After San paid for your things, you walked outside of the store and waited to thank him. When the door opened the bell went off. Looking up you saw San with his bags and a smile on his face. "Your the one who danced to one of our songs in public a few days ago right?" San asked as you nodded. "You did fantastically and I think you looked cute dancing my part." You were at a loss for words as he put the strawberry milk in your bag. "Here, take this. Think of it as my thanks for your support and willingness to give me the last milk." San smiled and walked off, leaving you with the strawberry milk and a heavy heart. "Wait!" You turned to face the direction San left in, only to see he was gone already.
