Ian Lee was sitting at his desk, playing with the pencil in his hands. He was anxious to meet his new partner. After his old partner, Kim Wooyoung had turned against the company, Ian felt a strange emptiness.
Ian didn't pay attention to his surroundings until someone sat at the desk in front of him. Wooyoung's old desk. To Ian's surprise, it was a girl.
"Hello!" She says. "I'm Park Seolhyun, your new partner." She shakes Ian's hand. Ian was somehow able to not show how nervous he was. He's really shy when meeting new people.
"Oh, hello!" Ian says, standing up. "I'm Ian Lee. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Park Seolhyun nods her head. "Would you like me to call you by your full name?"
"No, you can just call me Ian." Ian sits back down at his desk.
"Then you can call me Seolhyun."
"I'm excited to be working together, Seolhyun," Ian said. Ian felt weird about his partner being a girl, but he forced himself to not think too much about it right now. After all, many people had different gender partners. Plus, this was just work.
"So, what mission are you working on?" Seolhyun asks.
"You can come over here," Ian says, pointing to his screen. Seolhyun stands next to his chair, leaning close to the screen. "It's a small one. We're going to break into an underground military weapon selling business."
"Alright, sounds like a plan," Seolhyun says. "Can you email me the briefing?"
Ian nods his head. "What's your email?"
"Parkseolhyunpark@gmail.com." Seolhyun walks away from Ian's desk, sitting at hers.
In the meantime, Ian focuses on emailing the information to her. "I sent you it," Ian says immediately after clicking send.
"Thank you." Seolhyun checks her email, clicking on Ian's message. "I'll read this through and then we can plan it."
"Sounds like a plan." Ian turns to his computer, opens the document, and begins reading it. Work would be pretty interesting now.
