Warren's first shot swished through the steel net. That's how he expected the Cougars season to go: swish. As the starting point guard fit the Eastside Cougars, Warren "The Rabbit" Royce was preparing for the season opener against Franklin at Baytown Park. Royce was a highly recruited guard that was looking at a future with Duke, Kentucky, and Louisville- his choice. And it wasn't hard to see why. At 6-3, Warren was the only white high schooler who could throw down a windmill with ease. Athletic ability was his specialty, but no one dared him to shoot; all you'd get from that was an unscathed rim. Because of the possibility of Warren playing NBA ball, he was really popular at Eastside. Everything was going his way- until Raymond Woods showed up on the 15th of November.
